How brave of him to not consider a warm up to rematch a guy that he thought was a warm up in the first place.

Either Joshua can beat Ruiz or he can't. An interim fight isn't gonna help him
None of the above was dropped 4 times either. You're correct though, people have ran it back and won, but most boxing people recommend Joshua take a step back, including Lennox Lewis and George Foreman!

Former two time heavyweight champion George Foreman expects Anthony Joshua to come back even stronger in the near future. Last month, Joshua was shocked in a fight where he was heavily favored to win, at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Then posters would be complaining ,they just look for excuses to cry. Lewis took over 2 years to reclaim his belt this is not what AJ is about.

Ok being as objective as possible...Joshua is losing his damn mind.

This is how a child responds to a loss. You ask them why will it be different this time... because I am a real warrior? Huh?

So Joshua has hundreds of millions in future earnings on the line and his strategy is to just jump back in on with no changes, preparation and a pride prayer?

His new plan is not to do anything different or even give himself recovery time from a very brutal beating in which he couldn’t even will himself to take more abuse.

He is passing on a new trainer to give him new strategy or capability. Then he is passing up a tune up to get his confidence up?

After that beating, fight a Tom Swartz or just dig up one of these corpses that Fury keeps finding through Top Rank.

But the kicker is he is moving this RECKLESSLY because he is a true warrior? So foolish pride is going to bring him the win?

Kamikaze pilots were true warriors too but their actions weren’t strategic for their own health, family and future.

This is just dumb. Fighting on emotion is what opened him up on the first loss. So he is doubling down? With out a puncher’s chance I see a second lost coming for AJ.

He appears to be self destructing before our eyes. We will see what a true warrior he is when Ruiz takes him back to that dark place that made him quit the first time. That place were there isn’t enough confidence in good health for the warrior to come back out.

The best predictor of future behavior is recent behavior in a similar setting.

All that is good sense. Too bad Hearn is pulling AJs strings. If Hearn could get a tune up in, and do the rematch for all the marbles, intact, there would be no rush. The alphabet boys have mando fever, any delays and they start stripping.

I like Ruiz I don't want his 15 to be up but I also don't want Joshua to lose again because I feel like another loss completely shelves a fight with Wilder, or Fury forever.

Actually on second thought IDC . I hope Ruiz wins again. Idc about the hw division as much as everyone else. Probably the most shallow division in boxing until Usyk gets in the mix

While that may be how it turned out to be, they by no means truly believed ruiz was going to be a tougher out than Miller.

Ruiz style was noting being tougher challenge he has unofficially defeated Parker and was active . Miller was custom made for Joshua . The polls in every site suggested this was the better fight.
