Has put Dazn his partner who cuts his cheque’s in a bad spot

Is now unhappy with Golden Boy his long time Promoter and the possibility of them doing business together in “Limbo “

Canelo has shown hes basically losing his Sh.it and willing to do anything under the sun and necessary just so he doesn’t have to fight Golovkin , No matter how much it costs him or business relationships it destroys

How can anyone can spin this as a positive for Canelo , He went from willing to take any fight to avoiding one at all costs, a fighter he supposedly beat last time

After the rematch he publicly said if the fans want it we will do it again. So why the change of heart? Not only do a significant amount of fans want it but his broadcaster, Golovkin and apparently his promoter. He's favored to win by his fans and most likely the odds makers. This is a DUCK on Canelos part. It's obvious he doesn't want the punishment he took in the two fights to ever happen again. Jacobs I believe also took a piece of Canelo that he will never get back. I'm sure Canelo despises GGG for other reasons, but he's for sure not liking the idea of fighting GGG because his promoter went behind his back promising DAZN the match up for September.

GBP just f'd up........in a big way. No other way around it. Now, this may eventually pass over and they can go on with their business like nothing happened. But whatever decision Canelo makes here in terms of sticking with or buying out his GBP contract would be warranted.

what about fury, whom most claim won was the rightful victor in an obvious manner, delaying a rematch?

heres the difference though...fury was put down twice and has an actual reason to be timid

nothing golovkin did to canelo in 24 rounds suggest anyone has anything to be scared of(unless ur a c or d level fighter)...canelo went 24 with golovkin(12 in a manner in which golovkin speficially asked for)...canelo wasn't hurt or dropped or even rocked really....I still cant believe some actually think there is any fear in canelo...nothing suggests it...and I don't personally care how or who you scored the first fight for....but the second looked clear to me canelo was better

to me its clear its personal for canelo...this guy just sits and waits for canelo and has obsessed over him for years....he makes fun of him for khan and turns around and fights brook...he takes jabs about the drug test but still turns around and fights him(if hes dirty why do you want to fight him)...golovkin is getting fights greenlighted for him for years networks wouldn't do for anyone else(especially one who hasn't proven he can really sell on his own)....canelo asked mr "I like belts"(golovkins old war cry years ago) to go fight someone decent and get one first...instead of fighting d level guys

its not about fear...its about some guys getting an easy pass when they haven't proven much and haven't proven they are big stars without another a-side attraction that canelo is....golovkin has taken 0 risks in his career....which virtually ever other major star in the sport has had to do...Oscar, Floyd, manny, bhop etc....its not fear of a fight with golovkin...its a stand...its personal....and I think that's clear

Oscar and GBP took care of Canelo when he was coming up and did a great job raising his profile.
Just like Oscar and Floyd Canelo no longer needs them and they have now did him a huge disservice to further their interest. May be time to part ways.
