Come on everyone... breathe. This is just an attempt to get Ruiz and his team to blink. I will spot anyone who will admit along with me one point: Ruiz would make much larger coin going to the UK. That fight would be huge, and huge money.

But I do not think Ruiz and his team are all about the cash. They feel they will win the rematch, and that the bigger money fights coming down the pike as a near unified champ will more than make up for the cash lost not going to the big British Island this time for the rematch. I see no way they agree to this. It will be in the US, and if I was involved it would be in Vegas where Ruiz will be treated as the "A" side as he deserves. Now unlike most on here I have zero problem with Joshua pushing for it. Ruiz was not even supposed to have this opportunity in Joshua and his teams minds, it was supposed to be Miller. So pushing for the rematch to be in England is fine from their point of view.

It just won't happen. Not unless Ruiz cares more about one huge payday than being champ. I just do not think he does. It is back in the US.

I'm not stating particularly AJ, but everyone around AJ will lean on the scales to make sure Ruiz loses.

Even if that means fixing the cards, spiking the water, or just having someone play really loud music all night while Ruiz is trying to sleep - It will happen.
I can’t disagree but I kind of get the feeling that happened to AJ when he went to NY.

One thing is for sure. The ref from the Parker fight would have ground out a win for AJ in the first Ruiz fight.

Big words from a guy who got smashed to pieces and down four times and then quit hahahahaha, don't give me the fans crap, he wants it in the uk so he can cheat with his meds and get a hand off the corrupted judges and ref!

I like Joshua but honestly it would really be a bad look for him to have a rematch in UK. It would make him look weak.

If Ruiz gets paid more than contractually agreed, its because Eddie might cough something up to smooth things over with Ruiz and not aggravate him. Its nice to be nice. But it will not be because he has to. Unless something in the contract is unenforceable, the only thing Ruiz can do is to retire and come back in a year or so (unless the contract covers that scenario as well). This would really mess things up in the division.
A rematch clause covers exactly one item: Ruiz CANNOT fight anyone else before a rematch with Joshua if it is invoked. Seriously, do you think after working out all money and fight details in the first, they sit around and hammer out all the details of a fight that may not be needed? Why do you think the venue is up in the air? If Joshua and his team would have pushed for any one thing, it would have been that a rematch would be in England. But it is not.

The date, place, judges, the ref, who gets first promotion rights, the TV broadcasting rights... and yes the money are ALL being worked out.

Ruiz has to give Joshua a rematch. Period. He is obligated. Everything else is a blank slate.

Aj is going to juice up and Hearn and the UK drug administration is going to cover up his test. Ruiz is going to get knocked into the stands lol.

Ruiz is already down by 14 rounds and needs a knock out before the fight starts if he fights their.

Forget it AJ, Yanks dont like to come to the UK or anywhere else unless they really have to cuz they have to leave their cheating at the check in desk at the airport. Also im now sure they are scared to get anywhere near UKAD cuz UKAD will get em.

They looking to piss you about until the fight dont happen. They not confident, they knocked you all over the ring and knocked you senseless and yet they still scared, to this day.

The crying about Whyte and this drugs thing is just a smoke screen, they didnt want to come over before that, You go over to the States or Mexico they will then demand it be shown on Showtime OR NO FIGHT. Its all the same crap read from the PBC duck script.

So you are suggesting Ruiz cheated when he floored Josh 4 times and made him quit? How exactly? Please proved evidence.

However, none of that is Ruiz's fault. Remember that it was AJ and his promotional team, who not only chose the venue of the fight but also the date and the opponent too. So that is not Andy Ruiz' problem. He had nothing to do with that.

"To the victor goes the spoils". Since Andy is now the champion and not AJ, then he should get the right to choose the venue this time. That is protocol for all rematches. You fight the champion on the same terms as the same time when you were the champion.
