Damn that sucks, I recently stopped boxing religiously and started lifting heavy I want to add about 10lbs to fill out my shirts more, upper chest.

I myself had hand issues a broken knuckled, all my tendons popped out my hands they said I needed surgery ( i never did it) and i guess im just lucky cause my hands are still good, can still crack etc but im afraid of the future lol cause when it gets cold cold my hand aches like the joints and stuff idk how to explain it.

Sounds almost like arthritis. I've noticed my hands started aching recently too (not the palm side that was injured) and I was hoping it was just psychosomatic haha. Just like a constant dull ache/throbbing? I think you and I might have to do what Redd Foxx did and invest in some Winning gloves if we are still going to hit the bag. Last I checked they were like $650 CAD or something like that, but everyone that I've ever heard who has used them SWEARS by them.

I actually owned some winnings, and they are great, they got stolen when I was moving and I packed everything outside in front of my mouse I made the dumbass mistake to put my gloves and shit on top of the boxes so someone can just come and pick them off. But they are expensive, I for sure will invest in some once I go back to boxing heavy. Funny story I bought winnings cause Erik Morales, he was/is my favorite boxer and he swore by them so thats why I got them lol and FYI Morales forcing Pacquaio into Winnings gloves for their first fight was the first time I ever heard of Gloves being in contracts.

But when I started noticing it was when I saw that almost all fighters, regardless of if they use Everlast, Grant, Reyes, Etc....they all seem to use Winning in training camp. That tells you that when the cameras aren't rolling, that Winning is the best for protection IMO.

Not to mention that I got more and more into Japanese boxing the older I got, and they ALL wear Winning over there. Makes you wonder how hard Naoya Inoue could hit in a pair of 8oz Reyes horse hair gloves!!

Winnings is a japanese brand too so it make sense all asian fighters will be using them, but yeah makes you wonder that these figthers who can crack in them like you mention Inoue how freaking well they do in some real punchers gloves.

Also this is why I got kinda upset with the mayweather situation where he called out Maidana for his gloves cause they use horse hair lmfao THE BRAND HE USE uses horse hair but just mayweather version doesn't cause they made it specifically for people who have hands problem so its all FOAM lmfao. The majority of boxers who use grant gloves user their Punchers version and it has Horse Hair lmfao.

Arreola is one of those fighters who never really had a prime. When he was younger he was still flabby and out of shape. Inconsistent. A younger Chris may have done better last night, but I think this version of him actually had more stamina than I’ve seen in the past.

And the Maidana thing was BS. They were the standard everlast punchers gloves if I recall. My only issue would be that Everlast has garbage quality control lol

2. Outboxed by a blown up out of shape light heavyweight Adamek.
3. Outboxed by Bermane Stiverne, then knocked out after making a bunch of excuses in the rematch.
4. Actually in a competitve fight against Curtis Harper...self explanatory.
5. Given a GIFT decision against Fred Kassi
6. Knocked down and given another GIFT decision against Travis Kauffman...where he failed a drug test.


Style wise Kownacki is a good match up for Arreloa, which makes for a good competitive fight, but any version of Arreola probably loses. Kownacki is just the better stronger fighter overall.

Arreola was just a hyped up American heavyweight in a time where they weren't many American heavyweights who were any better, so he was overhyped. To be honest not much has changed, I don't see any real stand out american heavyweights besides Wilder and disgusting drug cheat Jarrel Miller.

Probably would have been the same fight. "Prime" Arreola wasn't exactly a bob and weave, float like a butterfly kind of boxer. They would both have just traded punches like last night. Arreola wins a UD in LA, Kownacki wins a UD in NYC.

The Pole throws arm punches, doesn't get his legs into his punches. He can KO C and D guys but like this fight he has issues. I do like that he uses lots of punches; it's rare to see a HW go to the body like he does.

Damn, I can imagine, you just being a honest trainer and being shock at the power and what can you do but accusse someone of cheating, I remeber seeing Prince Hammad being accused of the same thing they took his gloves after a fighter and everything. Some people just have real crazy power.

LOL everlast had a representative Ernie on here till he got tired of this forums Bullshit, but he was a good source, But now hes only strictly on twitter. I think he was upset on how on fair boxingscene covered the story or something like that, either way he no longer post here no more.
