Sounds almost like arthritis. I've noticed my hands started aching recently too (not the palm side that was injured) and I was hoping it was just psychosomatic haha. Just like a constant dull ache/throbbing? I think you and I might have to do what Redd Foxx did and invest in some Winning gloves if we are still going to hit the bag. Last I checked they were like $650 CAD or something like that, but everyone that I've ever heard who has used them SWEARS by them.

Start with the Winning gel wraps. I hate inserts but those are good lovin. The gloves are pretty incredible too. Amazing no one has been able to get even close to copying these.

Winning must have their technology pretty secure and patented up proper.

Or the big names know that there’s no real “value” in selling gloves for $600. Sure pro’s will wear them, but 95% of people are just going to get some cheap Everlast

Some foams are really expensive in terms of materials cost. Like the stuff they put in those $70 pillows.
But, Winnings also have a certain form that must make a talented crafts person to pull off. A lot of "premium" gloves like Grants don't even come close to the fit and consistency. It genuinely blows my mind how Winnings are made for Japanese hands yet they are more roomy than anything I've tried and fit my XXL hand like... well... a glove.
