He's the king of the sport. He could do whatever he pleases. He has never ducked anybody. You're man crush GGG had his opportunity and got outboxed and outmuscled in the second fight. GGG needs to fight some other told level competition other than Canelo.

Is that why everyone saw GGG winning the first fight convincingly? DAZN came down to two options for Canelo that they approved off; GGG and Kovalev. Canelo was willing to move up in weight to avoid GGG. When that didn't work out they pushed back the September date and said they don't have a good name to face. Smh. GGG is right there. G wants that fight and DAZN wants it too. That's why they brought GGG on board in the first place. But Canelo is avoiding him out of spite and because he knows he already suffered a loss to him.

Anyways, listening to the latest Mannix podcast and he is blasting GBP. He's saying people inside the DAZN headquarters are heated at GBP for not delivering on their promises and he blames them for not getting the Kovalev fight done. Mannix said if GBP presented Kovalev their final offer earlier, they would have gotten the fight done. But by then Kovalev agreed to the Yarde fight and they couldn't get out of it.

So looks like both DAZN and Canelo are ticked off at GBP.

Canelo drops the title as he walks by and then makes a scene, "Oh nooo!! I've dropped my title. They stole my title!!" All the while we know that he's been avoiding GGG like the plague. Was willing to move up to 175 just to not give GGG the trilogy and when that fell through wanted a way out. Now the IBF flexes their muscle and strips him. Good riddance. So Pugmire clarifies that Derevyanchenko will make around the same amount vs GGG then he got offered for Canelo.

Turning down a fight against THE biggest star in boxing for three belts for the same amount of money for GGG is interesting to say the least.....
