Sorry but this is not the WBC! I like Canelo BUT the IBF if VERY Consistent they don't make exceptions for ANYBODY! They have their obligations that needs to be Fulfilled and if a Champion don't Fulfill them they will snatch their belt quick and find a Champion who is willing to Fulfill their Obligations as their Champion

They was given a Deadline, Extension then a new Deadline

Wanted to see Canelo unify personally and Unification Take Precedence over Mandatory's so maybe they was hoping that since Derevyenchenko and Keith Connolly are not just taking any low ball offer that they can just run and quickly Grab Andrade now for Unification when honestly that is the fight they should've BEEN negotiating to begin with so that Canelo can try to make history and Unify then Drop all those Belts

Savage comment. I'd add WBC into the mix and make a threesome.

I think the IBF are the top organisation out of the 4 belts. I hope they continue with this sort of reputation. They gave Team Canelo like 3 chances to sort something out, they didn’t sort it out and he is stripped as stipulated in their rules.... Job done.

If they couldn’t come to a deal then why didn’t the champion call for a purse bid? Yes people like Canelo can be held to hostage when it comes to paydays but this a mandatory fight not a voluntary. Go to purse bid and let the challenger pick up the 25% of whatever they make as a mandatory.

Oscar need to chill he thought he was going to special treatment like he did with wbc, but the ibf hit them with the okey doke lmao.

Canelo had plenty of time to file a motion to either unify with andrade, rubber match with ggg or move up and fight kovalev but he has been silent on all fronts and its been almost 3 months since he beat jacobs. Ibf has to enforce the mandatory its his obligation.

He could have unify with andrade which the ibf would have allowed instead of the mandatory with dervychenko so I dont feel sorry for canelo stop playing games and let the people know and the ibf who your next opponent is.

If GB can prove Derevyanchenko and the IBF were negotiating in bad faith then they may have cause to sue them. This happens a lot in boxing, but nothing is ever done about it. If Derevyanchenko never intended on making any deal and forcing a purse bid then he and his team were acting in bad faith.

Some of the signs of someone negotiating in bad faith are:

Negotiating without an interest in reaching an agreement
                Last-minute demands
                Hiding significant material facts

bad faith- 1) Intentional dishonest act by not fulfilling legal or contractual obligations, misleading another, entering into an agreement without the intention or means to fulfill it, or violating basic standards of honesty in dealing with others. Most states recognize what is called "implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing" which is breached by acts of bad faith, for which a lawsuit may be brought (filed) for the breach (just as one might sue for breach of contract). The question of bad faith may be raised as a defense to a suit on a contract. 2) adj. when there is bad faith then a transaction is called a "bad faith" contract or "bad faith" offer.

Then go to a purse bid. The challenger has no obligation to accept Canelo's offer. If they can't agree, they go to purse bid. Canelo is refusing to go to purse bid, so he's being stripped.

Fighters have no obligation to negotiate at all! You can request a purse bid at any time. You can't sue a fighter for wanting a purse bid. Canelo is refusing to do a purse bid, so he's being stripped. Simple.
