Because Canelo has a track record of being generous to opponents, now these guys want retirement pay and beyond to face him. Take GGG for example who not only rejected a career high payday and an opportunity of a lifetime when he claimed no one else would face him, he rejected a huge purse for the rematch, even going so far as to cite Canelo-Cotto, saying that if he was willing to give Cotto an inflated purse then they'd refuse to step in the ring with them unless they get an inflated purse too. These guys love bringing up Canelo's name for attention, but they become B side divas as soon as they get the call.
