Comments Thread For: 30-Day Weights: Lomachenko 144.5, Campbell 147.4

It took a few weeks longer than expected, but everything else about the three-belt unification bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko and Luke Campbell is flowing along smoothly. Both boxers came well within the 30-day weight threshold as imposed by the World Boxing Council (WBC), one of the three belts at stake for their Aug. 31 showdown at O2 Arena in London, England.

Campbell looks beat up and dead already. Both are welterweights here. They should be cool to get down to 135 right on time.

Fight will be in the morning or afternoon here. I'll pass.

Top Rank...parade of C+ opponents...should change their name to Unranked . To reflect the calibur of opponents.

Campbell is ranked #1 by the WBC, and #2 by Ring Magazine.

Who would you prefer he fight that’s better?

We apologize that not every opponent can be undefeated. We know this day and age it is hard for many to grasp that fighters do sometimes lose and rebound. I mean Spence is going to fight a guy who lost to guy he already beat also. Pure Blasphemy!

                    For a vacant title.

Would you prefer it if he said “naw **** that” and fought Lopez? Lopez is undefeated but would lose to Campbell and just got exposed by a Japanese boxer nobody has ever heard of.
