Sept. is too far out for DAZN. They will have left boxing waiting that long. February ... May at the absolute latest.Comment

How so?
IBF demands a deal...and Canelo pulls out! how come that is DAZN fault?
or you mean the "Fight GGG or Kovalev or we can care less"from dazn?
if the latter, well , like I been saying it all these weeks, there is so much you can do for yourself....untill the bussiness comes and bite your ass

Yeah, the idea of maximizing pt III with the coveted Sept date makes perfect sense on the surface, though this is a fair point. Although it suggests DAZN is already frantically treading water at a point I'm not sure they're at yet. Then again...
Who knows.
A friend has been floating the idea of a top secret Canelo-Spence ppv planned to close out the year kept under wraps to this point, with the "GGG must have a strap" talk being mostly smokescreen while that's underway. It seems far fetched at a glance, but to hear him make the case (giant numbers playing on the unfortunate reality race war angle, an exciting fan/casual-friendly style match, the high likelihood of culminating in another highlight reel KO for Canelo) is actually semi convincing and at least makes you think what if.Comment

Absolute morons that team is then. He's an underdog in both fights. Canelo is THE guy in boxing. Passing up a chance to fight him for similar money against GGG is laughable. Even if loses to Canelo but performs decently well, he would be in line for another big fight.Comment
