GGG vs. Derevynchenko is a done deal for Oct 5th or Nov

Now that Canelo-Derevyanchenko talks have broken down & Canelo will be stripped of the IBF middleweight title, a deal has been reached for Gennadiy Golovkin to fight Derevyanchenko for the IBF title. Fight could happen as soon as October 5th, but maybe moved to November.

Yep, looks like DAZN is trying to get back at Canelo for not taking the GGG fight. Not only lowering his purse, but then possibly giving the opponent more money or the same money to face GGG.

lmao. You don’t think when Canelo was negotiating with Kovalev that DAZN GGG And Sergiy weren’t discussing the framework of fighting for the vacant title 😂? GGG already has purse locked in so it was just a matter of dervenchenko purse.

And who is the easier fight? Imo ggg. So why not fight him first. If he upsets ggg then he ends up with ggg and Canelo. It’s very easy to see what’s going on.
