I suspect better PED testing is what kept Ortiz and Kownacki away

My theory is that haymon wanted the event to crash and burn and advised all his heavyweights against taking the bout in an attempt to ruin AJs US debut and DAZNs big shown but Andy Ruiz wo uldnt take no for an answer and personally pursued the shot and wanted it. Worked out well for Haymon in the end

Yeah, Ruiz got hit with a good uppercut and a couple of solid rights... how many would have got through that? Or landed their own?

I like Kownacki, think he's a really good contender, but I'd pick Joshua to beat him any day of the week. Ruiz has a style that's hard for Joshua, Kownacki doesn't. Ruiz will beat Joshua again, Fury and Wilder would beat Joshua, Ortiz maybe? Anyone else I'd still take Joshua to beat.

And now that you're well-conditioned, Arreola might do a David Price and knock you out.

One of my favorite fighters. Just stay in shape and lay the leather on Arreola 🥊

The only guy they could get to fight AJ, was the guy who believed in his self. Cownaki wasn't in shape, but now he is? Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Scared men never win.
