Adam Kownacki turned down that chance, too, but not only because he also believed he'd challenge WBC champ Deontay Wilder in the foreseeable future. I wasn’t surprised he turned down the fight, Haymon already had him and Ortiz in line for Wilder. Those were his own managers words. You can try and sugarcoat it but Andy Ruiz took his chance and shows he had more balls than all of them at HW.
