This case is strange. So much secrecy that even the date for the positive test was a month off. That is the problem with UKAD and the BBB of C. It is one thing to have confidentiality but the public especially the boxing world should be kept abreast of the basics of the case!Comment

Legal in states but not legal for athletes particularly in combat sports. If you are an athlete and are caught with Marijuana in your system you are banned so not its apple and orangesComment

Here's a logical question....Why hasn't the results of the "B" Sample come to light yet? It does not take this long. People speak of the adjudication process being the reason why He was allowed to fight...If that's the case, then that implies his B sample was tested and came back clean...however, that is NOT the case because apparently his B test is still not back yet.
As Per the UKAD, "Where the Notice of Charge is based on an Adverse Analytical Finding, the athlete has the right to request analysis of the B-Sample.
If the B-Sample does not confirm the result of the A-Sample then the entire test is considered as negative and the Notice of Charge withdrawn. No further action will be taken against the athlete.
If the B-Sample analysis confirms the Adverse Analytical Finding in respect of the A-Sample, then the athlete can either accept the finding and consequences specified in the Notice of Charge or request that the matter proceed to a hearing."
At the end of the day, the burden of proof rests on Whyte...He was allowed to fight without any consideration of duty of care for his opponent... Hearn clearly didnt care about Rivas..and neither did the UKAD. and THATS THE ISSUE HEREComment

Do you have a crush on Dillian Whyte? Dianabol is a steroid. Marijuana contains a psychoactive (mind-altering) chemical. Yes they are both "banned substances" but they are used for completely different purposes. The Dillian Whyte supporters are like religious zealots. The only way to really "see" life is to open one's mind! The Dillian Whyte saga will play itself out. If he was using Diananbol then he should be punished for it. End of story!Comment

Here you have a person saying it's ok to take a banned substance because it's not as effective as another banned substance.
Saying it's legal in many states without realizing that its still banned for athletes shows just how knowledgeable you are on the subject.
Another fool with little substance who likes to throw insults around. YawnComment

The whole situation reeks of incompetence if not outright corruption. The claims that UKAD and the BBB of C make about these investigations possibly taking months is B.S. When an employee who is drug tested comes up positive for his "A" and "B" samples he either has a very good plausible explanation or he is done! Test the "B" sample, announce the results and then take appropriate action. The boxing world is waiting!Last edited by Alan Smithee; 08-01-2019, 03:47 PM.Comment
