  • Dan Rafael from ESPN is reporting that the failed test was June 17th not July 17th. This makes much more sense now. Dianabol could have easily been out of his system by the time VADA tested him one month later.

Exactly! This should clear it up. He did not pass a VADA test within two days of the UKAD test. That didn't make sense.

People speak of the adjudication process being the reason why He was allowed to fight...If that's the case, then that implies his B sample was tested and came back clean...however, that is NOT the case because apparently his B test is still not back yet.

As Per the UKAD, "Where the Notice of Charge is based on an Adverse Analytical Finding, the athlete has the right to request analysis of the B-Sample.

If the B-Sample does not confirm the result of the A-Sample then the entire test is considered as negative and the Notice of Charge withdrawn. No further action will be taken against the athlete.

If the B-Sample analysis confirms the Adverse Analytical Finding in respect of the A-Sample, then the athlete can either accept the finding and consequences specified in the Notice of Charge or request that the matter proceed to a hearing."

At the end of the day, the burden of proof rests on Whyte...He was allowed to fight without any consideration of duty of care for his opponent... Hearn clearly didnt care about Rivas..and neither did the UKAD. and THATS THE ISSUE HERE
Well I'm not arguing that in fact I completely agree. The process is overly long and the fact that Whyte, Hearn and UKAD didnt inform Rivas doesn't sit right with me at all. You will see me call this out on other threads

Yes and he has been provisionally suspended by the WBC personally I wouldn't be against him not being allowed to fight until the investigation process is complete

I'm not comparing anything, I'm saying if it's on the banned list it's illegal. To try and make if this because it's only weed is moronic. If it's illegal it's illegal.

Moronic? Over here in the " good old U.S.A" marijuana is legal in many states. As for Dianabol (steroids) not so much. Apples and oranges mate or chap or whatever fu.king term you use!

I surmise that his team argued that he wasn't currently enhanced and that allowing the fight to proceed was safe.

A Wilder statement. Doesn't take long for the jealousy to rear it's ugly head. What a sad night when chubby knocked the shyte out of A.J " Auntony Joshua" as that dopey british announcer pronounces it. Don't worry! You can always root for Fury as he get's toppled in the rematch! Hop on the BOMBSQUAD train guys! Never too late!

The problem is if he tested positive for Dianabol while in training it is still considered a failed test and punishable offence.
