Here's a logical question....Why hasn't the results of the "B" Sample come to light yet? It does not take this long. People speak of the adjudication process being the reason why He was allowed to fight...If that's the case, then that implies his B sample was tested and came back clean...however, that is NOT the case because apparently his B test is still not back yet.

As Per the UKAD, "Where the Notice of Charge is based on an Adverse Analytical Finding, the athlete has the right to request analysis of the B-Sample.

If the B-Sample does not confirm the result of the A-Sample then the entire test is considered as negative and the Notice of Charge withdrawn. No further action will be taken against the athlete.

If the B-Sample analysis confirms the Adverse Analytical Finding in respect of the A-Sample, then the athlete can either accept the finding and consequences specified in the Notice of Charge or request that the matter proceed to a hearing."

At the end of the day, the burden of proof rests on Whyte...He was allowed to fight without any consideration of duty of care for his opponent... Hearn clearly didnt care about Rivas..and neither did the UKAD. and THATS THE ISSUE HERE

And weed is on the prohibited list because it can help fighters in training (can help with soreness for example). So you defend him event though he failed because of something on the prohibited list? proves my point about double standards on here

You are comparing Cannabis with Dianabol. Soreness? lol. Steroids and marijuana are the same? I guess only in the good old U.K!

I believe that this is what you are referring to. It does not exonerate Whyte.

The final pre-fight and post-fight VADA random drug tests for heavyweights Dillian Whyte and Oscar Rivas were negative for any banned substances, according to the letter VADA sent to the fighters and their teams on Thursday, a copy of which was obtained by ESPN. Both fighters had samples collected on July 17 as well July 21, the day after the fight, and they came back negative. Whyte failed a pre-fight test conducted by UKAD, which was also testing both boxers, for the banned steroid dianabol in a sample collected June 17. That result came to light during fight week but, he was still allowed to box in the vacant WBC interim title bout, which he won by unanimous decision. UKAD has yet to explain why he was allowed to fight. The WBC this week withdrew its recognition of Whyte's interim title until it completes its own investigation. VADA had not been made aware of the failed UKAD test nor was Rivas.

The UKAD sample was taken June 17th. Its interesting that the VADA letter only mentions that tests were administered on July 17th and 21st.
