Damn, this is a risky fight, without much reward. Does anyone think that Wlad will get a lot of credit for scoring an early KO?? (not counting the nuthuggers of course )

he wont get any credit cause hes gonna make it look really easy. nor do i think anyone deserves much credit for beating shannon briggs anymore.

so let me ask you, would wlad get a lot of credit for beating anyone these days? probably not. when he wins a fight its cause hes so big and its not fair for those poor other guys. wlad could Ko all three heavyweight champs in 6 months time and people would still pick a guy like briggs to beat him and then rationalize it with the ol "hes got a punchers chance"

the bottom line is that anyone who doesent like wlad is just sitting there praying that shannon briggs pulls off the miracle, cause they know if he doesent there arent many people left with the punching power to do it.

I think the big selling fight is the purse, because this fight could sell well on PPV, but the key is the live gate at MSG because Briggs is from New York and very popular there.

Outside of that, it's a strange fight for Wlad to take becuase beating Briggs doesn't mean very much.

The nuthugger sentiment of "Well Briggs is a dangerous fight for Wlad" doesn't hold a lot of water. Just because we have a title holder with no chin doesn't mean everyone should jump for joy when he fights a journeymen puncher.

You think Im a nuthugger? Because I am one of those who has said its a dangerous fight. You are the one who even said that Briggs has a 50/50 chance of winning. Im not startin **** , but I dont want people thinking Im one of those huggers.

            Where did I say that?

No need to be reading into things. I didn't mean to imply anything about you.
