Thurman got dropped because he was actually trying to win. Broner just wait like he always does.
Broner doesn't punch when the other fighter is active.Comment

Good points, agreed. Maidana definitely made him more gun shy than he already was. I still remember the look on his face when he got dropped and leaving the ring after the fight. It's because that Maidana fight ruined him mentally. It left him psychologically scarred; To the point of his being too defensive, not throwing enough punches and becoming too gun shy in order to win fights.
Physically, he is fine but he was damn near knocked out in the Maidana fight. He miraculously recovered and lasted all twelve rounds. However, he has not been the same fighter since.Comment

AB has a chin and power to give Thurman problems if he actually tries to engage in War.
AB has heart but he's No Warrior.Comment

ALL Fighters protect themselves inside the ring and have a certain level of fear of what they could get hit with. And ALL fighters practice defense to avoid certain shots that could cause damage or hurt them. ALL fighters practice how to throw shots at certain angles to avoid absorbing the total impact of a punch. ALL fighters have a certain level of fear of being hit because they know how dangerous it is inside the ring. Some may have more fear than others but they all have fear, including the all time greats historically.Everyone says the same bs
Broner doesn't throw because he's one dimensional
As if broner would be great if he threw more
He cant throw punches and play d at the same time
He's also scared to get hit
He throws punches when it's a soft opponent
But anyone with a pulse and he doesn't throw because he's one dimensional and a biatch
My point was, for whatever reason, Broner in those losses just didn’t let his hands go. Of course when your in the ring with a heavier and more powerful puncher, their is more danger in letting your hands go. So I would agree that he did it more with less dangerous opposition. But I would stop short of saying he is afraid to be in the ring because I truly respect anyone that signs up to be a professional fighter and accepts the inherent risks that come with. I do agree also that AB is 1 dimensional a lot of times.
I would not call any fighter a b@tch unless I know what it’s like to actually be in the ring myself. It’s easy to challenge a mans toughness or lack there of when you don’t know what it’s like yourself, never being in a professional fight. I try not to be a keyboard warrior and try to respect all of them. I may joke about them sometimes but I respect the danger they take on in that ring. And ALL fighters are afraid to get hit before or during a fight. Tyson, Holyfield, Roy Jones Jr, BHop, Sugar Ray, Ali, Manny, among others and Ali spoke on that. They just said it’s how you channel that fear in a fight to be victorious. So those comments that you are making don’t make any sense unless you have fought professionally and have experienced being inside the ring yourself as a pro and in with a big puncher.Comment
