Have you ever tried to shadow box for 3 minutes straight just throwing punches. Add moving around for 3 minutes to that and let me know how it feels. Take a 60 sec break every 3 minutes and resume shadow boxing and moving around. Do that 12 straight times. While your at, find someone that will throw punches at you to the body and the head. Try to absorb or block them or avoid them. So do all of that 12 straight times for 3 minutes with just a 60 sec break every time. Now imagine doing all of that with a friend that may be on your level skill wise or better than you.

My point is this, it’s more than fear that causes a fighter to not throw back. It’s conditioning also. Remember Richardson during the Mosley and Floyd fight, he said,” Floyd’s gift is his conditioning.” Remember other fighters coming out that faced Floyd, they said it’s the way he manipulates their movements inside the ring to persuade to guide them around the ring while while piling up enough points. He guides and navigates their bodies around the ring while persuading the judges that he is in control.

So imagine if you did everything I said above and you were inside the ring with an experienced fighter like a Manny or Mikey Garcia doing what Floyd would often do to fighters or being in with a rough house like Porter or Maidana. Walk a mile in a mans shoes before calling him a b@tch or scared.

Whoever said Thurman sustained a rib injury during camp is just hating.

I agree. That is a bunch of crap. Thurman broke his rib in the fight. Otherwise, the governing bodies would have never cleared him to fight in the first place, if that rib was either injured or fractured.

They shouldn't detract from Manny's victory. He was absolutely amazing in that fight at age 40 and so was Keith Thurman.

They treated us boxing fans to a highly entertaining and crowd pleasing fight. I couldn't be more proud of them both. They made us boxing fans very glad that night.

It seems like boxing fans the world over have finally gotten tired of two of the biggest a**hats in the sort..adrian "super coon" broner and amir "so full of s*t" khan.

These guys are a blight on the sport.

Yes they once accomplished somethings and seemed to be on their way to greatness then Breidis Prescott and Marcos Maidana happened and for all intents and purposes it's been a slow slide to the point where they now reside.

A bull*****, wannabe rapper, underachieving idiot who loses EVERY TIME he steps up and his only concern is with being famous.

And the other one is a supremely delusional con artist who has to be careful not to brush his teeth too hard lest he knock himself out and who has shamefully ducked the only fith in his career that would matter.

Amir Khan must have something embarrassing on BoxingScene because I don't understand why you continue to give this fool so much coverage.
