I admit that I underestimated Keith Thurman. I was wrong about him. He really surprised me.

He may be physically damaged and limited now but boy did he display a true championship heart against Pac? What a ballsy and gutsy effort? He just didn't come to lay down or survive but he came to fight and win.

So, I have to tip my hat off to him. He's man of great honor and character. While he may absorbed a lot of punishment in the Pac fight, however he still displayed true grit and determination in trying to knock Pac out.

His performance won me back as a fan. His performance made me a fan again. That fight was a fight of the year candidate.

AB is shot to pieces. He didn't come to fight or win against Pac. He just came to survive, collect a quick payday by running out the clock against Manny Pacquiao. At least Thurman came to win but AB on the other hand just refused to try.

Broner quit against Pac. He displayed no balls or will at all but Keith Thurman did. I even thought that "One time" even hurt and shook Pac on several occasions in that fight but AB didn't remotely close to hurting or stopping Pac because he feared getting knocked out.

AB ain’t do **** vs Pac. Just like he ain’t do **** vs the guys he’s lost to. He doesn’t throw any punches. It’s always the same thing with this guy.

People keep saying this, but at some point you are what you are. And Broner is what he is. He's not a bad fighter by any means, but on the world level he's a B minus level-ish boxer. A gatekeeper.

He's not an A level guy who wasted his talent. This is just who he is as a fighter.

Can you imagine if this guy was undefeated what kind of money he would be making with his love/hate relationship with the fans. That’s the difference with him, other fighters, and Floyd. Floyd was very defensive, but he let his hands go just enough throughout fights to win those decisions.
It's because that Maidana fight ruined him mentally. It left him psychologically scarred; To the point of his being too defensive, not throwing enough punches and becoming too gun shy in order to win fights.

Physically, he is fine but he was damn near knocked out in the Maidana fight. He miraculously recovered and lasted all twelve rounds. However, he has not been the same fighter since.

I'm sure Thurman would have took same amount of punches as AB and made the fight just as boring.
That is if Thurman fought in survival mode like Broner did.

They should fight. That's a fun one.

AB is extremely gifted & talented, he's just not courageous enough. If he was willing to go out on his shield, he could win those fights that he's been losing. He's got a good beard and should trust it.

That said, Manny completely took him apart and if he really thinks he was anywhere close to winning that fight, he's delusional. He may have looked like he could go to the dark night club afterwards, but Manny looked like he could attend the bright Church the next morning with no problems.

Whoever said Thurman sustained a rib injury during camp is just hating. The man got outclassed and the reason he sustained more damage than Broner was because he actually let his hands go and came forward. Pacquiao admitted that he hurt his eye after the Broner fight when he showed up at his church and talked to his congregation with an eye patch. He said a piece of tape had sc****d his eye.
