If Whyte's "A" sample was positive on the 17th then his "B" should have been tested within 48 hours by the 19th. This whole mess stinks of corruption. Like rival promoter Frank warren said Rivas should sue for a violation of "duty to care". It may take litigation for the brits to get their act together!
Whyte did say he was lawyering up. People think it’s due to people “talking rubbish” but I wouldn’t be surprised if its to save his ass from the incoming lawsuit.

The whole situation sounds nuts. You test positive for steroids and fight 3 days later. I don't care that it's trace metabolites! How did it get in his system? Dudes are dying in boxing and Eddie Hearn is slinking around like a snake as usual. And the fools on this forum defending Whyte? If his "B" sample is positive then he is toast. Regardless of UKAD and the BBB of C. He was "cleared" to fight. What B.S! The rest of the world is watching with vested interest!

The hammer needs to come down on this. The cover up is even worse than the test.

Agreed 100% Rexy. I think that UKAD, the BBB of C, and the rest of them are dragging their feet on this knowing that they fu.ked up. They are probably trying to come up with some bull shyte to try and protect themselves. I really hope the industry keeps the pressure on.

Where do we stop? Canelo failed A and B tests, and fans were saying to test hair. Enough is enough. These cheats will always have an excuse
I think VADA is like that, this is why I was hoping they would retest Whyte taken samples and see if they have missed something out. Because I know this whole UKAD thing would take a long time to sort out.

This was how Tyson and Hughie Fury were able to get away with cheating. Hughie returned to boxing within 6 months I think, Tyson was effectively banned for 2 years (Mental health) and everything looks or seems like nothing happened....

So yeah UKAD needs to sort their rules out, they have to have some sort of diplomatic immunity were they cannot be sued if they stop a boxer from fighting if his/her A-sample comes back dirty, this is the loophole that allowed Whyte to fight last week.

Guess it depends on which lawsuit would be worse for them, getting sued for loss of income, or getting sued when someone dies from a roided up boxer.

Someone did clear whyte to fight so no. No evidence was found he tampered with anything with whatever he provided them with which he just cant go in front of the board with hands in his pockets and shrug his shoulders. Ha

Theres strict liability in the BCCC rules which penalizes an athlete even for no intentions of taking anything illegal if this is the case there would be very little reason to stop a fight under the amount found, if you are found not guilty in court guess what ? You are cleared even if the court or plaintiff files another hearing .

If he was allowed to fight then obviously not.

We will wait and see what the outcome of all this is.

Did the authorities make a mistake in allowing him to fight? Was the test result innaccurate? Was the substance for a pre-existing medical condition? Were the authorities made aware of this of this condition?

How is that obvious? He failed a test.
