Could Hatton or Cotto beat Baldomir?

yah theres always the cuts with hatton but the worst cuts ive seen on him where against maussa and he went for 8 more ronds with them

Hatton would lose to Baldy since he cannot box to save his life. Cotto, on the other hand, would have a better chance since he can box and move out of the way, not to mention he has a defense which Hatton severely lacks.

I agree with this post. I dont think Cotto could hurt Baldi even though he may be able to out box him. I belive Baldi can hurt Cotto.

Hatton gets hit too much and he will be right there for Baldi to hit em.

I think Cotto would beat him, because the weight will be more natural for him. Also Cotto is a better boxer as many have said. Hatton puts himself in wars all the time. Just look at his fight against Maussa and look at Cotto's Maussa fight.

i think hatton would get a UD, not enough power to get carlos out of there, but enough determination and smothering to keep his offense up.

i think cotto can take him out, I dont know bout hatton his last fight was ****, Baldomir looks strong and can take a punch. I give cotto a better chance at beating baldomir then hatton...

i am a big fan of cotto and am all for him moving up but dont you think its a bit premature to say he could be better power wise at welter , just turn your attentions pre may 13th we was all saying the same about hatton and now 90% of us are calling him a bum or a **** fighter.
id say we should give cotto 1 fight at welter b4 we start asuuming he can hang at 147

I think Baldo stops them both later in the fight. Neither Hatton nor Cotto are hard to hit and neither have very good chins. If Collazo can hurt Hatton so will Baldomir. If the smallish Corley can hurt Cotto badly you better believe that Baldomir can TKO him. They both have a habit of brawling and that in my opinion will be their downfall against Baldomir.
