He gets beat by all of them.

Look, last night did not say anything for Baldy, It said a lot about Gatti.

He got KO'd by a guy with 12 KO's. Gatti is done.

The other welters are licking their chops now for this fight.

Last night showed everybody that Baldy punches way harder than any other guy would with only 12 KO's.You can't only go by that logic.

Sure either Hatton or Cotto could beat Baldomir; but they'll have to go through hell to come home with the fleece, in my opinion.....which would make them better, more confident fighters.

I think that both Hatton and Cotto would beat Baldomir but it would not be easy. The way to beat Baldomir is by breaking him down by hitting to the body. Both Hatton and Cotto have great body attacks. Also Hatton has underrated boxing skill as does Cotto. I would rate them both as better pure boxers than Baldomir. On the other hand it would be difficult if not impossibe to KO him. Cotto's chin has looked questionable at times but Baldomir isn't a big puncher and Cotto will be better now that he does not have to drain himself. I definitely think Cotto has the better tools to beat him. If Hatton fights his normal fight trying to wrestle Baldomir on the inside he could lose.

i beleive both guys would win by ko
hatton and cotto can break down the body with relative ease , both are good boxers , cottos a great boxer when he wants to be so theyve got that option. hatton would smother him all night and the way baldy fought against gatti would be useles against hatton at hes best cause baldi needed range to fight gatti
baldi could (a big could) knock cotto out cause he can be suspect in that deparment if cotto aint careful but i dont think hes best shot would phase hatton too much

I generally agree although I think a KO is unlikely. Hatton couldn't KO Collazo and although Collazo is a much different fighter than Baldomir Hatton landed some clean shots and Baldomir has a better chin. Also, I think Hatton could lose because of a cut... he has been known to cut easily and Baldomir opened a cut on Gatti pretty quickly.

I think Baldomir is too big for Hatton's fighting style. Hatton tries to bully people, and Baldomir cannot be bullied by a smaller fighter.

Cotto on the other hand can fight Baldomir the way he fought Abdulaev. Abdulaev was bigger and stronger than Cotto but Cotto imposed his boxing ability on him to beat him. I have not seen Cotto use his boxing skills as often as he used to in his recent fights, but I know he is capable of beating Baldomir by boxing him.
