Russ Anber has a pretty good reputation around boxing as he has worked as a trainer, a 2nd in the corner & cutman for some elite level fighters. Team Whyte & his promoters sound like they stacked the deck against Rivas. Pretty shady stuff & that doesn't include Whyte failing a drug test prior to the fight. This is almost as bad as The Sonny Boy Williams/Botha fight where in round 10 Botha was on the cusp of taking out Sonny Boy & then they announced the fight being changed from a 12 round to a 10 round fight allowing Williams to win a decision...

Seems rather obvious they had something to hide.

If either insufficient padding or something in the gloves, it endangered Rivas's life far more than the PEDs Whyte may have used.

Fallout should be that no top American will fight again in UK till changes made. Changes need to be made in all countries too.

Just been watching this fight funnily enough. And thought whytes hands looked small, little 8balls on the end of his wrists in them black gloves. I'd like to think white has integrity and wouldn't game gloves to get an advantage as that is quite malicious. Peds is one thing and most probably do them let's be honest. But plaster cast or removed padding is just a tad sinister in my weird boxing moral code. Margarito was a real villian for doing such a thing
