If B tests bad, I gather that fight will be a NC and he'll get a long ban?
the board let the fight go on so I am presuming that same board wont turn the fight into a NC

Struggling to believe it. He's VADA enrolled and would have been tested frequently leading up to the fight. Then UKAD rock up a few days before fight night and he pops?

If true, then he should be finished. No two chances, even if it's relatively minor stuff.

Mind you, this is boxing. A sport where a guy caught taking HGH probably still has a career.

Just when this fool was starting to win me over with his junkyard dog style of squeaking out wins, the truth comes out. I hope Rivas gets a no contest out of it.

Like the PPV buys are never leaked and I tried asking for some gross receipts from some cards that took place there and got no response. Most of the commissions here stateside will provide you with what you are looking for within a week (Not NY/RI though).
Good point on the secrecy over there but, I havent seen any major US reporter even re-tweet or comment on the story in the last few hours. Im sure they want their own corroboration and not calling BS on this story, but something smells here. Whether the reporting is accurate or Matchroom/Eddie/BBBC let the fight go on KNOWING he tested positive and didnt tell Rivas... smh gotta wait for the dust to settle but this could be ugly

Not correct? Where in my comment did I say that VADA depend on the WADA list?

What I said is that UKAD follow WADA rules, as do USADA and every US athletic commission.

Nobody can be charged with a PED offense unless they break a WADA rule. As such it seems utterly pointless and confusing for VADA to follow a different protocol than WADA when testing fighters.

I usually ignore the drug testing drama, but the fact that Team Rivas was not notified seems really messed up. I also find it interesting that Whyte came back dirty for the UKAD test but not VADA's.

Maybe human growth hormones. His gut was hanging over his belt, but he recovered from the KD and finished well. That is not like him. Normally he doesn't look good after KDs and he usually finishes drained, running on empty. I was more than a little surprised when he won the 12th round vs Rivas after getting KD.
