Dude 160lbs is light for him. That was really abnormal for him. He rehydrates to the 170's.

Those last few lbs on the catchweight are torture for boxers. So when they're instituted the boxer isnt coming into the fight at his 100%.

Imagine GGG fighting at 153lbs? How ridiculous would that be? Or Spence at 141lbs? Lol

Catchweights are a huge deal around here. Maybe 10% of boxing fans are ok with them. Most think catchweight fights are garbage.

Floyd "put on a clinic", as the saying goes.

          Why do you despise catchweights?

The only people May needs to worry about are those who vote boxers into the HOF.

1st ballot is assured. The day of his enshrinement will be a hectic day here

Floyd beat a nel o who was nowhere as good as he is now that's why nel o is/was considered green. Floyd knew he'd be criticised for cw so no point crying now about it. Plus Floyd has did very little at 154 to accept Floyd as having being a proper champ at that weight so at least beat the champ at his full weight.
Pac can be forgiven for his cw with cott o as wasnst using it to preserve unbeaten record like floyd.
Cotto certainly weren't green. But Pac has cemented his greatness as a ww in doing something never did so at least Pac is accepting there was no need for cw, and tried make amends for it,he'd likely have beat cott o anyway..Pac continued to fight and made up for it.Floyd took money and ran and got out of boxing before he got found out.
Floyd fans keep boasting about unbeaten record and then being cautious fighting nel o with cw? Floyd will get little credit for his nel o win when perspective and context is used without the rose tinted specs Floyd fans use

Making weight is tough especially for boxers having to come down. A fight is a fight, wither catch weight or not, it's an excuse.

Canelo may have been drained and dehydrated on weigh in because he needed to be to make weight but he rehydrated himself the next day going up 160lbs + on fight night.

Stop using catchweight as an excuse, Canelo got schooled because he was green at the time and wasn't ready for Mayweather.

It was a good fight between the two but Canelo was trying to box against the best boxer of his era. You can't box with Mayweather at his own game, you have to be rough and dirty like Maidana did on his first fight.

You seem to discredit Mayweather for beating Canelo at a catchweight.

Would you discredit Pacquiao for fighting Cotto at a catchweight? Not once have I seen someone complain about Pacquiao fighting Cotto at a catchweight but when its Mayweather there are excuses...

Everyone seems to be happy with Pacquiao's win against Cotto at a catchweight, somewhat its Mayweather you have an excuse.

Floyd fans are more irritating they go on too much about how good the nel o win was because floyds resume hasn't much strength in depth to it. Pac fans don't mention how great the cott o win was nearly as much, as Pac fans have a bigger library of better wins to gloat about. Plus Floyd fans rely too much in that nelo win saying it's better than anything Pac s did? Floyd fans are ruining Floyd credibikity
Plus Pac has more than made up for that cw win by continuing to achieve at WW that you could assume Pac would have beat any version of cotto and Pac have made up for the cw against cott o giving you countless more wins after. after

Floyd was not going to fight much longer so why not fight at full weight and not diminish your legacy fight? Floyd wants no hardship, he was going to retire soon after. So why not fight at 154, after all your not going to fight prime nel o and become oldest ever 154 champ of all time like pa c was at WW. Took money and run Floyd did didn't do much after so nobody is going to assume Floyd could beat a ungreen nel o in prime. Floyd gets credit for the version he beat nothing more, nothing less.
Floyd s too cautious to be considered on Pac s level
