Pac-Thurman means nothing next to this for me...very sad to hear this news...

Ray Corso was a Quality Boxing Man of the highest order....in the last 20 something years of the Internet Boxing Forum era, he was in the rarefied air....among the best of the best....he simply "knew the game and watched it unfold"...

Respect to Ray Corso and my deepest condolences to his family...

That is a beautiful Eulogy. It moved me. Beautiful words coming from the heart. I had tried to Green K you before on something and it was a no go, but they let me on this one.

One of the most amazing things I have been privileged to witness is when a warrior, a man who has shown greatness in a community of like minded individuals, and knows his time has come (Ray posted and knew his time had come), they leave a last word of sorts. I have seen this with Ray, with two great martial arts men, one of whom was my teacher for many years... These words always implore us to make peace and appreciate things.

Its worth noting that Ray told us that he was commenting as he observed his own transformation. That post is in the History Thread. He told us how to respect his legacy, respecting each other.
