Dang. RIP Ray. This is very unfortunate. He always had good posts and was fun to chat with.I have some very sad news concerning our fellow poster Ray Corso. I tried to contact him via direct email yesterday and today received the following response form his wife.
"Hello, this is Ray's wife. Ray lost the battle. He passed away in April. I know he enjoyed being on your forum. He was passionate about boxing. I miss him too. Norma"
He posted about his battle in a thread in the history section where he often enjoyed posting...
His final post to us apparently 19 days prior to his unfortunate passing....
RIP Ray Corso. Sadly missed.

Heartbreaking news, but he lived a complete life. He had a ton of personality which was after all his genuine self. On this forum he was a star, a diamond among river rock. I learned many things about boxing from him, some technical, some philosophical. His convictions were grounded in experience, and his writing unpretentious. To say I will miss him would be an understatement. As internet presences go, I loved Ray Corso. RIP, old stick.Comment
