    that is what I think

Kovalev was not their first option

    Canelo gets what Canelo wants

    hopefully he demands Andrade

      I agree 100%

I was being sarcastic. There are three younger champions at 175. One of them even offered to fight Canelo at 168

However, there is absolutely nothing in Canelo's past fights that makes me think that is even possible.

you want to climb out on a limb and say it is??
I totally support your post here, nothing in Canelo's past fights makes you think he would NOT ask for a restriction. IF he doesn't then i would give him massive praises too.

Well, Kovalev is older, still a name, a bit war torn, still has a belt etc. He ticks all the boxes for 175 (Once he gets restricted to 171/172).

Exactly. Bivol can comfortably make 168 so that’s a huge no. Gvozdyk is dangerous too. And Canelo would get decapitated by Beterbiev. After the beating he put on Hot Rod he might get trouble getting fights at 175!

There is also Callum Smith at 168, who holds the "super" version of Canelo's WBA SMW title.

Canelo said he wanted to fight Smith. Smith responded by telling him to either send an offer or STFU.

              Canelo STFU.

"Golden Boy has increased its offer to Sergey Kovalev in an effort to finalize a deal for Kovalev to defend his light heavyweight title against Canelo Alvarez in September, a source familiar with the negotiations told SiNow,” said @SIChrisMannix. Still: The offer to Kovalev is still underwhelming to Kovalev’s team, per source. One option Kovalev’s promoter, main_Events would like to pursue: A multi-fight agreement with dazN_USA that guarantees Kovalev a comeback fight,” said @SIChrisMannix"

I think Kovalev is pricing himself out, which is a shame because Canelo really wants to body him.

Kov would have to pay yarde and his promoter a big step aside fee. Why not ask for more? Kov and his promoter already said he was going to make pretty much the same amount if he fought yarde in the USSR. Saul and his promoters are being shiesty. Give Kov what you gave Jacobs. If not, DAZN says you HAVE to fight Golo, period.

he already asked for more and was already offered more to cover all of it, but now is not even about money, he wants a multifight deal from dazn...
if he ends up getting the deal then more power to him, but if he doesnt, dont come here blaming canelos team for the fight not happening...
