He can buy out of the contract, or sit idle for years of his career prime trying to fight it in the courts, and likely fail

DAZN won’t be paying him if he doesn’t fight, so they aren’t losing a massive investment

All he has to do is fight Golovkin. It’s a big fight that plenty will watch, I don’t see the big issue. In most people’s eyes, it’s 1-1

Canelo Alvarez became a star under Richard Schaefer's run at Golden Boy, with his initial PPV run, if Schaefer's word is his bond, on an 85/15 Canelo PPV share deal.

I won't question anyone's intelligence, but if you honestly think that Canelo traded that deal for a slave contract with Golden Boy, you're bugging.
I know you're one Richard Schaeffer's nuttrider's but if Canelo thought so highly of Richard don't you think he would of left Oscar by now and gone with Richard??
I mean it's been 5 years since Richard left Golden Boy promotions but Canelo still there...
But if you don't believe me look it up.
Canelo signed a contract extension with Golden boy promotions right after he signed his DAZN deal.
The contract was for three more fights past his DAZN deal. So after he finishes his DAZN deal he'll have three more fights with Golden boy promotions. Basically taking him to the end of his career.
Yes there could be opt-out clauses but that remains to be seen.
So you're the fool for thinking Richard is boxing's savior....
Look where Richard is at now and look where Oscar is,....
Richard is Al Haymon's own personal biitch and he waits on Al Haymon on hands and knees hoping Al Haymon throws him a promotion gig while Oscar is DAZN's #1 boxing provider and he has the #1 boxing star in his stable.... FACTS! 😆😁🖕

By the time his contract is up there'll be some next level **** going on. With 5G, youll get some fully immersive virtual reality stuff going on. See who gets at the front of that technology. Strap a headset on and youll be sat ringside, ref with a camera on his head so you can watch it from his angle

You cant really predict, things are going to be changing so quickly.

There's no source for anything that you've said about this phantom Golden Boy Promotions extension being true, lol; he signed a new deal in 2015 with Golden Boy, for an undisclosed amount of years/fights but that's it.

Canelo has an admiration for Oscar, but do not forget that Canelo Promotions is on every banner, and Canelo handles his own sponsorships, Mexican TV, and the ****ing DAZN deal outside of Golden Boy Promotions from the jump.

Keep being dumb if you want.

GBP has a business to run, they're in it long term. They will try their best to promote as many new fighters on the sidelines of Canelo Alvarez to prep for when he retires.

The problem is that DAZN has so much money to invest that they can't empathize what Canelo SEES or KNOWS what Loeffler & GGG Promotions are doing off his fame. DAZN doesn't care about the drama between GBP and former K2, they just want the subs and will/have paid for the investment procedures.

In other words, DAZN can't empathize in that its Canelo who is providing DAZN's return but worse, to rectify GGG Promotions' $100 million deal. That's what Team Alvarez doesn't like. That GGG doesn't have to take challenges and just coast of Canelo scheduling for that $100 mil. GGG knows it, doesn't mind getting his ass kicked or knocked out, he'z getting his $100 mil regardlesss, so Gennadiy knows he has to push the fight to justify his multifight deal even though its not specifically in neither of their contracts.

Here you go dumbass! I knew you was too ****** to look up info so I did it for you,...m 🤣🖕

With much fanfare last week it was announced that Mexican superstar, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez (50-1-2, 34 KOs), had come to an incredibly lucrative agreement with DAZN, that will pay him $365 million for his next 11 bouts that will be broadcast on the streaming platform which is investing heavily into the sport of boxing.

Right, it seems hard to believe Canelo will finish all the fights in the contract, seems like too many. If he does finish the deal, he will probably retire and ride into the sunset with them millions.

I could envision a Golden Boy and Top Rank reunion. However, there will be no reunion between Golden Boy and the PBC. Oscar De La Hoya absolutely detests Al Haymon.
