Yeah, if Haymon picked Spence for Pac, these people would say,
Pac ducked Thurman, Pac saw Spence couldn't even clip a small 135 guy, that's why.
It's the same old narrative coming from TBE fans.
It's 2020 and they're still resurrecting age-old kiddie discussions.

I guess they want a 41 yr old out of prime Pac at a severe disadvantage.

Strange part is they're not criticizing Spence for wanting Thurman. Spence is angry, even calls Thurman a corny individual. He's mad that Keith is not even mentioning his name. But you'll hear crickets from these PBC fans.

If you think Pacquiao doesn't have any say in who he fights then you are crazy. Pacquiao's team chose Thurman not Haymon. Haymon just made sure Thurman was available.

I am not sure why anyone believes Haymon has a say in who Pacquiao fights. He can present names to him and Pacquiao says yes or no. Just like Arum who said he offered Crawford and Pacquiao said no. I am sure Spence was offered and Pacquiao said no. Pacquiao and his people chose Thurman not Haymon. Pacquiao is way to big for a promoter to be picking who he fights.

I think I'd vote no to both of those questions.

I do think Keith has looked more beatable than Manny has lately doe.

Whos next for pac after thurman? Granting pac wins, all the biggest names in WW will be salivating to land a once-in-a-lifetime money fight against pac except for crawford who already suggested he's not fighting an old pacquiao.

When SRL had a bad tuneup he re-retired. I mean the fact he had problems with a setup opponent says a lot to me. Lets not forget he barely got past Porter & Danny at their best with both those fights being close + I'll never forget that Collazo had him effed up good for a little bit. If Manny gets him like Collazo did he's gonna take him out or keep getting to him.

Granted there is obviously huge questions with whats Manny got left which makes this less of a opinion that Manny wins & more like can I see a path to victory for a old great fighter who shouldn't be winning this fight in 2019. And the answer is yes I see a lot of paths to victory for Manny & a lot of paths to losing for Keith. The odds on this one seem about right to me where its a virtual pickem. And it shouldn't be considering Keith is the prime guy & Manny is 40 & has an L (or a too close decision if you saw the fight like I did) to Jeff f#cking Horn ffs.

Been a while since I watched the fight, but didn’t Keith build up a big lead against Danny and then break his hand and coast to a UD win? And which tune up you talking about? He retired like 9 times lmfao

yep, cause of his layoff and last fight performance they chose the easiest option.

Spence been calling for Keith even after the layoff...so if pac wasn't in the mix Spence would've fought Keith, then would it still be a cherry pick??
