DAZN has it's best views when Canelo fought Daniel Jacobs & even Rocky Fielding with the Ruiz-Joshua fight being 3rd place while GolovDuck's fight didn't even chart 😂 If anything DAZN would go out of business for over paying a Kazakhstani.

Where do we disagree? So far, old GGG seems like a money chaser and nothing more, same as old Martinez, and Cotto since Cotto was like 5 years younger than GGG is now... And like Floyd almost the entirety of his career.

But that doesn't make it OK because GGG from the onset claimed to be something different. I like box, not business. And so on.

But that was prime GGG, and he delivered by at least trying to fight the best guys. I'm talking about prime GGG. Old GGG, we can agree, all he does is chase the Canelo money. Granted, because he's so old, that's basically turned into his big 50-50 legacy fight, so are we sure he's chasing it just for money and not legacy too? In any case, we can agree, he's chasing Canelo and not fighting anyone else good. We agree.

But prime GGG was another story. PRIME Canelo ducked him, for one. That's a big difference. Prime GGG wanted to fight prime Canelo, prime Canelo dropped a belt to duck prime GGG. A huge difference. And that's why prime Canelo is a hypejob ducker, but prime GGG wasn't, and that's why I wrote the post about Canelo, not about prime GGG, to answer your original question.

      dude says the silliest things

how are DAZN stuck with Canelo, when they can rely on him beating guys like Jacobs and Kovalev..... but they cannot rely on Golovkin beating Andrade, or even fighting him

Canelo Alvarez’s contract doesn’t have a predetermined fight list.

DAZN can’t do anything to Canelo other than to give him more money.

But all this is fake news. DAZN’s Brazilian market has been the fastest growing market from all territories and doing really good with football and MMA.

More markets are to come. Only LDBC shill idiots think that a company would splurge Canelo and GGg’s combined deals and to want a “return” a year later. Lol

Canelo will fight who he wants to fight. Boxing Writers are just as curious as any other fan for Canelo’s next opponent, or writers getting impatient that they want the GGg3 fight with contextual information about GGG’s age etc...

Much of the GGG concern has to do with age since many believe GGG has a better chance to fight Canelo NOW.

Well guess what!! Tough luck!! Mexican Style! Go eat your cakes and wait for more Fox Sports 1 ratings and PBC being sold to Dana White’s grandma. Write about that!!

        WAR DAZN

          that is exactly right

these are recent comments from Canelo.....

          * nothing in my contract binds me to fight Golovkin
          * if Golovkin wants a rematch, he can win a title

who cares if DAZN/fans were not listening, the Canelo train rolls on

hard luck for DAZN, and hard luck for Whinekin fans

one of two things will happen.....

          1) Canelo will fight someone else, Smith or Kovalev..... and he will insist that Golovkin fights Andrade..... that way the winner brings something to the table..... Golovkin a title, or Andrade a win over Golovkin

          2) Canelo has moved on, will never fight Golovkin again..... and will select Andrade himself for September

I think Canelo will select Andrade..... then look at Charlo, Smith, Kovalev..... and never fight Golovkin again

and if that happens..... Golovkin will not face another dangerous opponent before he retires

Industry KNOWS that both Canelo and GGG don’t have a predetermined list of opponents. It’s DAZN’s marketing or whatever division in their company to help sell that fight. At least writers do their part.

What’s bad is when Loeffler continues to coach GGG on what to say to make headlines and controversy about who is running who at DAZN. Imo, GGG still wasting his time seeking Canelo. If the fight happens, and I said this before, it should be at 168. Both men will be more powerful, and both in theory will deplete speed about 10-15% so that in itself makes a new bout more challenging.

Industry should be doing boxing a service and demand GGG to Fight other elites. It’s not complicated. Canelo has done his part his whole career.

I doubt that is what Canelo's contract states. DAZN needs Canelo and GB more than Canelo needs DAZN, especially now that Joshua got destroyed by a fat guy. If DAZN does not like Canelo's picks then they can let him go. I am sure Alvarez could easily make just as much money somewhere else.

Both Smith and Bivol would hospitalize Canelo... forget about those...

So this is either a bull**** excuse to duck, or it's ridiculous. This truly is the diva, scaredycat era of boxing.
The problem with your ****** post is Canelo has already fought GGG twice.

I like to compare GGG's chasing the 3rd fight with Canelo to Marquez chasing Manny for the 3rd and 4th fight. Marquez continued to move up in weight and fight/beat dangerous opponents which made the public and press more excited about the possibility of a 3rd or 4th fight.

GGG has not done one damn thing to make the press and public excited about a 3rd fight with Canelo. All he does is complain and whine. He then tries to get DAZN to pressure GB to get him a rematch. He has not done one thing inside the ring to get anyone excited about another rematch. He has not brought anything to the table except entitlement.

Most impressive resume in boxing has defeated 15 world champions and a four division titlist. Already has a hall of fame career but that doesn't matter to these so called boxing fans.
                      Stop being a fan girl.
If you can't see how entitled Canelo is then you need to get your eyes tested.
