By Keith Idec - Eight months ago, Canelo Alvarez, Oscar De La Hoya and John Skipper shared a stage at Madison Square Garden, celebrating an unequivocal victory for each of them. Alvarez, boxing's biggest active star, and De La Hoya, his promoter, had secured an unprecedented deal for a fighter. Their five...

Oscar will eventually fold. That makes me wonder if Canelo will soon get tired of Oscar not getting him what he wants & then completely cutting him out the picture. In all fairness he doesn't need Oscar anymore. Nelo has picked up a lot from Floyd wonder if he'll do what Floyd did and start his own sh-t so he can really do what he wants with his careerComment

hard luck for DAZN
so, Skipper urgently NEEDS Canelo/Golovkin III.....
but.....
he is more than happy for Canelo to fight Jacobs and Kovalev
but not willing to risk Golovkin fighting Andrade
really..... ?
sounds to me that of the $365m deal, and the $100m deal..... that he offered those two guys..... Skipper wasted 100mComment

There interesting part about this usually fighters; after coming off a huge fight, will take a softer touch. In this case, Canelo is being forced into big fight after big fight after big fight. If anybody thinks that DAZN was just going to invest 365 million into a fighter without having something to say about it is crazy. They want to see a return (subscribers) on their investment.
Things can get even crazier because GGG has shares in the company so he is essentially Canelos boss. And Im pretty sure Skipper put clauses in the contract to cover himself and investors just in case things didnt oan out the way they wanted them too. And Oscar has no where to go. If they go to ESPN they HAVE TO do what Arum says because ESPN has given him that leverage. And Oscar is for damn sure not going to Showtime or Fox. Going to be interesting.

What did DAZN expect to happen when they invested 300 million dollars in a overrated ducker hypejob who came to fame for being a red headed Mexican, nothing else, and then bartered that fame into corrupt judging and favorable matchmaking, including only facing top fighters like GGG once they were 35 years old? No one but Mexican fans and hardcore racist boxing fans who hate GGG like Canelo, everyone else remembers him ducking the prime version of GGG, and ruining a great matchup, to instead give the fans a past its sell by date, half-cooked version of the same fight years later, or, they don't follow boxing anyway.
It seems like everything wrong with boxing is coming to a head here, and DAZN is ground zero. They made their bed signing this hypejob, now they're stuck with him.
"Canelo is only famous for being a redhead" Meanwhile Girlovkin pretended to be Mexican just to grow his inexistent fanbase you ****** fk. Only Cinammon that Triple Cherrypicker could beat is Rolls LMAO
DAZN has it's best views when Canelo fought Daniel Jacobs & even Rocky Fielding with the Ruiz-Joshua fight being 3rd place while GolovDuck's fight didn't even chart😂If anything DAZN would go out of business for over paying DuckLovkin.
