Sounds like Skipper has more of a problem with GGG then Canelo? Canelo fights Andrade next then that means they’re paying GGG another $20 million to beat up another cab driver. Man that was a SHT deal!

GGG didn’t this by turning down fighting for a belt and choosing Rolls while GGG picked up the IBF Belt.

GGg has NO Belt and no demanding fight by in MSG??? I’m glad Canelo turned diva down

Clenelo fights Smith or Bivol and GGG fights Andrade then they fight each other next. Seems like that would be the best compromise.

Dazn can’t do shiiitt the ggg fight was never set in stone in canelos contract they should worry more about ggg who just faced a straight bum for 14 million they should worry about making that clown face a legit guy, canelo just beat Jacobs and is now targeting kova.

Fuuuckk ggg and his fake ass fans for supporting that hype job

So this is either a bull**** excuse to duck, or it's ridiculous. This truly is the diva, scaredycat era of boxing.

No one but Mexican fans and hardcore racist boxing fans who hate GGG like Canelo, everyone else remembers him ducking the prime version of GGG, and ruining a great matchup, to instead give the fans a past its sell by date, half-cooked version of the same fight years later, or, they don't follow boxing anyway.

It seems like everything wrong with boxing is coming to a head here, and DAZN is ground zero. They made their bed signing this hypejob, now they're stuck with him.
You need to change your name from “Boxing Logic” to “Boxing Fanboi”. All your post are biased and whiny. You let your female emotions get the best of you. Try and be a Boxing fan for once and not a Fanboi.

DAZN already gave Golovkin a whopping $14.5 million to face the unknown, unproven Rolls in what was supposed to amount to a tune-up for a third fight against Alvarez. Skipper can’t give Golovkin another overmatched opponent, yet the former ESPN president also will try to be careful about not getting Golovkin knocked off by someone such as Andrade.

Golovkin clearly could beat Andrade as well. If Andrade defeated Golovkin, however, it would be almost impossible to go back to that third Alvarez-Golovkin fight, the foremost reason Skipper committed more than $100 million to a 37-year-old boxer.
So they gave GGG all that money and the only challenging fight they expect from him is Canelo??? He can't risk losing to anyone else?? Good on GGG for getting that type of deal but DAZN is dumb for paying him all that money for essentially one fight.

However Alvarez and Golovkin feel, Skipper and DAZN need Alvarez-Golovkin III to happen – if not next, then definitely in Alvarez’s following fight, presumably May 2.

Otherwise, it’ll be difficult to justify not only Alvarez’s astounding deal, but also Golovkin’s gaudy agreement.
How is difficult to justify the Canelo deal when he signed with DAZN before GGG? Whether GGG came to DAZN or not that was Canelo's deal with or without GGG so there is justification for the deal.

There interesting part about this usually fighters; after coming off a huge fight, will take a softer touch. In this case, Canelo is being forced into big fight after big fight after big fight. If anybody thinks that DAZN was just going to invest 365 million into a fighter without having something to say about it is crazy. They want to see a return (subscribers) on their investment.

Things can get even crazier because GGG has shares in the company so he is essentially Canelos boss. And Im pretty sure Skipper put clauses in the contract to cover himself and investors just in case things didnt oan out the way they wanted them too. And Oscar has no where to go. If they go to ESPN they HAVE TO do what Arum says because ESPN has given him that leverage. And Oscar is for damn sure not going to Showtime or Fox. Going to be interesting.
