[QUOTE=Split Decision;19876569]what should he be doing then ?
better inside fighting ?[/QUOfTE]
Use his physical advantages.... but... there are lil guys....who don’t know they should be afraid...and just seek and destroy...
I was in jail with this puto,,,parole violation... me..
He fought dogs like Vic.. I had someone stab him...
I can back up my chit..
Anyway.... he taught me a few things... I had a blue nose pit, 55 kilos.... massive... I showed him photos of my dog X,,,I asked him how would my dog X do in a fight...
He said clearly...”if you love this dog, never fight him, he’d get mopped by a pit half his height, half his weight..”
X was the pick of the litter, big, beautiful he feared nothing.. rip x...
Joshua is X.... Ruiz is a killer....Comment

Good breakdownJoshua's problem, and I have said this long before his loss and stated it as a reason to all my boxing fan friends as to why Deontay Wildr would knock out out very easily, is that his legs are very slow, he doesn't really move to the side and if he try to force him back, he really looks uncomfortable. Wilder would have smashed him at as soon as he went at Joshua. Ruiz went in, ducked Joshua's predictable swings and fired as many shots as possible at the stiff robot. His body movement is also very rigid. He beat Wlad, great win, but an ageing, inactive and coming off a loss Wlad, also Wlad's skill set don't really fire against Joshua's weaknesses, like Ruiz did, like Wilder's would, like Fury's would. I don't believe Joshua can beat Ruiz, a slight punchers chance, but that's it, and fighting tall, he's still rigid, Ruiz will charge him down and land many quick fire punches. It will be a very similar fight, but I think Ruiz does not hit the floor this time and wins inside 4.

Needs to move his feet effectively and efficiently while using his jab to keep Ruiz at a distance. Upper body movement maybe not so much, whatever he does he hasn't got a lot of energy to spare.
Instead of weights, I'd advise fencing lessons followed by several hours of Ukrainian dance lessons.Comment

If I ever make it all the way across the country to Bumfuck, New Jersey we can glove up. I'd be happy to show you a thing or two.
But did you already go down to Memphis to whip LarryX? I don't want to jump ahead of him in line.
Supposedly you had a gym in Tennessee where it could go down?Comment

It really doesn't seem like enough to change his styleHe developed into one with a different trainer just like Lewis. You can't expect Joshua to develop into that type of fighter in one came with the SAME trainers. Wlad and Lennox changed their styles but from day one they had better jabs than Joshua. So in theory it sounds great to falling tall and using your jab to dictate the fight and then the right hand, but won't be that easy.Comment

NOOOOO!!!! AJ already is a good inside fighter, but never gonna be better then a 6-2 guy with short arms and good speed. AJ needs to stay outside AT ALL TIMES with Ruiz, but because he is used to killing bigger fighters with his inside work it will be hard to fix.Comment

Isn't he Julian Williams trainer? He probably wants to stick to coach him.Comment

Joshua is a mid to short range fighter. He cannot fight on the outside and be successful. If he does that, then he would get bum rushed by Ruiz again.
He is not an out fighter like Tyson Fury who can stick and move for twelve straight rounds without getting tired. AJ likes to fight in short bursts of stamina. Then he resets in order to reload.
When AJ is moving off the back foot he hardly throws any punches. You will only see him fighting off the back foot when he is tired. He does so in order to gain a second wind, like he did in the Klitschko fight.Comment

Kate Abdo asked Julian Williams whether he had anyone specific in mind when he Tweeted two weeks ago that any future opponent will have to adhere to strict performance-enhancing drug testing. Williams knew what the FOX Sports host meant, and answered accordingly during the newest episode of “Inside PBC Boxing” on Wednesday night.Comment
