Why isn’t Canelo calling out the other 175 champs?

Moves up to 168 to fight fake WBA regular bum Rocky Fielding. Claims to be a SMW champ.

Now he calls out Kovalev who is still great but clearly old and vulnerable. Why doesn’t Clenelo go after a young lion in their prime like Bivol or GvoDzyk?

Bivol is actually willing to come down to 168 for that fight, yet we haven't heard a peep from anyone in canelos team. Gvozdyk is designed to give canelo fits. Young, tall, long reach, great footwork, variety of punches, power in both hands, and can take a punch. Artur is a tank at 175 and would literally maul canelo with no fear of anything coming back. With kovalev he is choosing a name, but at the same time the oldest of the 4 champs, and someone who has been stopped twice before. Not to mention all these talks of catchweights and rehydration clauses which would cause kovalev to be dead on the scales.

It's because Canelo mostly takes on low risk, high reward fights. Old, out of prime Mosley, Old, out of prime Cotto, glass-chinned Khan, Old, out of prime GGG, shall I continue?
Canelo avoids real, prime time champions. No way on GOD's green earth would Canelo face a Lion like Anthony Yarde, we all know he been avoiding Andrade and Charlo. Now all of a sudden this cheap move of "Franchise Champion", what nonsense man.
Just watch, in about another year or so, there may even be a lame GGG trilogy, by then, GGG might be boxing with a cane man and the media will be hyping it up as if it were some mega fight.

Because they are young undefeated champions in their prime and Canelo is not this incredibly brave, dare to be great super hero some are saying he is. He won't give GGG a rematch which he should have done instead of fighting Jacobs who GGG already beat. He says he wants to unify 160 and hold all the titles. I think he is lying. Let's see if he fights Andrade for that WBO belt or instead fights some heavier champion at a Canelo type catchweight complete with morning weigh in. If he fights Andrade next then he is for real and more power to him. We should soon know who he is fighting and on what terms. Bivol offered to drop to 168 to fight him. Think Canelo will take that fight?

For all the talk Andrade and Charlo did before their fights, they don't deserve a shot at canelo, they didnt take risks at all, specially Andrade... Then after fight is over guy start talking like he gave a great show

If Canelo is giving out of prime GGG fits, I'm pretty sure Canelo can take everything Kovalev has to give, and he'll roll the hardest punches ala Andre Ward... Impossible for Canelo to lose a decision against Kov, he just doesnt need to get KOed...

The other Bivol and the other guy, that's a different case, Canelo needs strategies from scratch to beat those guys, He simply is not willing to do it, and the low compensation for the high risks... Your regular mexican granpa boxing fan doesnt know those guys.

I agree with you on Canelo taking low risk high reward fights but not on GGG being too old. He is old but he can still the best middleweight in the world. He is a real threat to Canelo and that is why Canelo refuses to fight him.

I know right...he also isn't calling out the other top cruiserweights and heavyweight either LMAO

Canelo just whooped the best and second best Middleweights in the world. Just fought at 160 a month ago and is trying to jump up 2 more weight classes and fight a world champ and universally top guy at light heavyweight next. Light Heavyweight would be Canelo's 6th weight class and his 4th weight class he's won a world title in the last 3 years. You got cowards who refuse to ever step up 1 weight class despite promising their fans for 8 years to do so but are complaining if Canelo doesn't jump up 2 weights and fight the top guy you want his first fight at light heavyweight lol

Bivol has stated multiple times that he would go down to 168 and he would be happy to fight Canelo at 168

Canelo hasn't made a peep, but instead wants to fight Kovalev at some ****** catchweight.

I don’t know how anyone can criticise Canelo if he fights Kovalev at 175.
