Let's not all act surprised that the WBC has elevated Canelo to its "franchise" middleweight champion & Jermall Charlo to regular middleweight champion. What was the WBC supposed to do, ignore imaginary rule 3.26 in its bylaws?!

Ahahahaha - franchise champion.
They must establish next wbc silver franchise champion of the world, wbc interim franchise champion of the world, wbc rental champion of the world, wbc insured champion of the world and so on)))))
...It's time to NYSAC to reestablish world titles I guess...Comment

Not saying Charlo is perfect because he also ducked Jacobs, but that doesnt excuse all the other guys that blatantly ducked him loke GGG (definitely) and Canelo (sort of, aided by wbc).
Canelo been ducking Charlos since 154 when he hid at caneloweight to avoid mandatory obligations and only came back when Liam Smith become a paper champ and then quickly ran from the division again.
Now the wbc protecting him from Charlo coz they fear he will drop his belt again if mandated to fight Charlo. And if you think for one second Sulaiman made this decision without first talking to Canelo and GBP about the possibility of fighting their mandatory then you are one naive mtf.
Charlo being ducked bro, plain and simple. But he also ducked Jacobs so I guess this is karma being a bish. I also remember when Andrade called him out when they were at 154 he said that Andrade is an irrelevant nobody. So again, Karma being a bish (Having said that, Andrade actually ducked Jermell twice and Lara three times, so...).Comment

So Charlo loses against Korobov, gets gifted an absolute robbery and then without lifting a finger becomes the full WBC middleweight champion? And people say the WBC doesnt bend, create new and break its rules for PBC fighters.
As for Canelo, Sullimain has had a big crush on his fellow Mexican for years.Comment

GGG was ordered to fight Charlo for a guaranteed shot at Canelo and refused and chose to fight Rola or whatever that guy is, how is that not a duck?

So, say Charlo has a good run, in a couple of years, can he too be named "Franchise Champion?" - or he can't be named "Franchise Champion" as long as Canelo is active?
What if Canelo goes up in weight? Is he still "Franchise Champion" at 160?
What happens if when he goes up to 168 lbs, they already have a "Franchise Champion" there?
What if them two fight, will one lose the "Franchise" designation?
Will the winner be the "OMG Super Franchise Deluxe Premium Supreme Champion?"
What if Canelo decides not to attend two events yearly? Will he be stripped?
So if a boxer defeats "The Franchise champion," he's merely a contender in the division and the "The Franchise Champion" is still the "Franchise Champion"
What if the "Franchise Champion" fights the full regular WBC champion and beats him? Will the WBC just designate a new full champion by appointing him in a board room like how Charlo was? Or will the "Franchise Champion" hold two WBC belts in the same weight class?Comment

Adding to the crazy confusion of title belts, the World Boxing Council has now created a new world title position - with Saul "Canelo" Alvarez being tabbed as the WBC "franchise champion." By doing this, the WBC removes Canelo from his position as middleweight champion - and makes interim-champion Jermall Charlo the full middleweight champion.

this is so that the WBC cannot mandate Canelo
now they are following their own rules, whenever Canelo does whatever he wants..... now they still get their piece of the pie, without annoying Canelo
how fkn ridiculous
this will not affect Canelo/Golovkin III, because the WBC were not going to mandate that fight anyway..... they told Golovkin to fight CharloComment
