It was hard to find that fight because the Japanese government said it was too gruesome... Rigo broke his face in three places

There was nothing intentional about tonight you don't stand and trade and take 300 punches from a puncher to bait fighters in especially when you've made a brilliant career out of being a defensive genius.

Rigondeaux's legs have been going for years and now we're seeing his reflexes truly decline. He's 38 with over 400 fights. Nearly every other SBW are shot by the time they're 32 and most reflex fighters even in the higher weights are done within a few years of that tops.

I'm glad he showed grit, a good beard and a very good inside game tonight but nobody beats Father Time. Rigo is there for the taking and had serious issues with a guy who wouldn't have landed a glove on him a few years back.

Rigo was losing the fight until he got that gift stoppage.

What are you talking about man yeah I agree he was losing the fight but Ceja could barely walk to his corner without help once the fight was waived off it was definitely a good call.

I saw the same thing. Rigondeaux is not the same fighter and he looks old. Even in his face. The reflexes and legs are clearly not the same.

When he is boring people complain, when he stays in the pocket and fight people complain...

That as the most entertaining fight I think I ever seen Rigo in. However, I never had a problem with his style personally, I think he should get back to his boxing though. Can't fight like that vs a Rey Vargas, going to have to Box Vargas or else Vargas stops him. Rigo actually held up well against all those big shots

It’s hilarious how Rigo fans still brag about his wins over the all-time greats Amagasa and Marroquin, lmao.

Rigo finally got another decent win tonight. Donaire, Agbeko and now Ceja are his only good wins.

Even though I think the stoppage was early (Ceja would have had a minute to recover) Rigo showed some grit and earned his shot at Vargas.
