You could see Rigo really wanted to get in there and make it TV friendly. He was getting hit with shots that you don't usually see land on him clean, he didn't play distance at all.
Also threw some really odd combos and tripled up on shots.
Rigo is getting old, but I think this was more a deliberate choice he made on how he wanted to fight this fight.
Probably somewhere in between if being honest.

The ref in this fight obviously saw something that wasn’t apparent to fans watching on TV. Even so, you could tell that Ceja’s legs were weak as he walked back to his corner after the stoppage. It was a brutal shot Rigo landed. Not surprising that a fighter should be done, even if he stands right back up.
