Deontay Wilder's left jab followed by his right cross is the best one-two combination punch in boxing. In addition, his tall, long and wiry build gives "The Bronze Bomber" great and extra leverage on his straight punches; Especially the right hand.
Had Wilder been shorter and had a stockier build, then he would have been known more for his left hooks, uppercuts and body punching; Similarly to that of a prime Mike Tyson.
However, guys with Deontay Wilder's build are historically known for their punching power; Like Sandy Saddler at 126, Alexis Arguello at 130, Felix Trinidad at 147-154 and Thomas Hearns at 147-160. Just like Wilder all of them were very thin and tall for their particular weight division.

But if you watch interviews with Wilder, he literally idolizes his own punching power, I have never seen such confidence in ones punching power since David Haye in recent times 'When he somehow he came back out of retirement, all Haye used to speak about was his power & speed'.
Joshua for me is a very grounded individual, that is why he is unmoved by his defeat to Andy Ruiz 'If Fury was beaten by Ruiz, he would probably retire'. Due to Wilder's & Fury's personalities, I sense if these guys are beaten 'It will hit them harder, well we have already seen that' but if somebody like Wilder keeps gaining momentum, it is as if it just feeds into his power.
I have seen nobody shake Deontay Wilder's mindset, when it comes to his punching power. 'At some stage in a punchers career, they meet somebody who they cannot hurt or take out' This has not happened too Wilder as of yet.
But I still think Anthony Joshua will end up beating them all.
Note: Mike Tyson was my favorite heavyweight puncher, enjoyed his technique and variety.Last edited by PRINCEKOOL; 06-22-2019, 05:25 PM.

He is fast, athletic and commits fully to his punches, which leads him to be off Ballance and open, if his opponents are skilled enough to take advantage.
He has long limbs, weighs in around 16-17stone, puts a lot of his weights into the punch.

Are you seriously going to say this was a windmill punch that knocked out Breazeale?

The punches that knocked out Breazeale and dropped Fury were straight punches.
