  • where does wilders punchpower come from and why..

Aren't there more heavyweights that have the same physiques and the same crushing power? Isit freak genetics or a wanting to kill in there mindset making him throw with evil intent?

he's blessed with a rich amount of melanin, which allows him to absorb the cosmic energy and channel it into his windmills. Rumour has it that Johsua has been bleaching his skin, maybe that's why he looked like crap against Ruiz jr.

He is basically the Vic Darchinyan of the heavyweights, Vic had to really load up wild winging shots with all his might to knock guys out, Wilder does the same.

He is like a oversized Tommy Hearns. Thin legs, wide torso...crazy leverage.

Nervous System strength, Tendon Strength, Bone Density, muscle fibers

His Mindset. He is constantly talking about his own power, he idolizes his own punching power above everything else. Last fighter I saw do this was David Haye, and it effected his opponents and gave him great self belief. His body was already breaking down vs Derek Chisora, but it was his power which suddenly ended that fight.

The otherworldly power compensates for the lack of brain.

He balances everything out. Puts a lot of leverages on punches. Balanced work outs. Helps to be big dude and play some football previously

Heard Andre ward say on first take. AJ too worried about looking good on Instagram and weight lifting . AJ bit stiff “robotic”

That left hook or right hand wilder throws. He throws it like he trying to knock an elephant down

Wilder's power, in my opinion, comes from two things
                - His body structure and build. Mostly pure muscles and a broad structure
                - His punching style.

He usually makes a one-two combination but that also involves moving in from a distance. His left hand creates the opportunity by deflecting the opponent's guard while his right hand, usually hidden behind the left, comes out of nowhere and when the opponent is least expecting it.

Moreover, since he usually hops while coming in, and the fact that his right is fully stretched and comes from way back and with speed, it adds up to create a huge momentum by the time the opponent is hit. And they say its the punch that you don't see which hurts the most.

Velocity, Wilder generates incredible punch velocity. Even punches that are slightly off target, glancing blows, leave opponents stunned.

High body-kinesthetic intelligence... yes, that is a type of intelligence, being able to use your body effectively. He knows how to generate a high amount of kinetic energy in his punches. Combine that talent with hard work and dedication, practicing and mastering offensive skills, reading opponents, setting opponents up for big shots, etc... putting these abilities together properly in a fight requires a bright mind and a lot of discipline.
