He shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Holmes or Lewis.
This is evidence supporting the establishment of a Planned PArenthood on every other street corner. And why the dude who invented the saline ******** deserves a Nobel Prize.

The 70’s version of Ali beat all three of those guys anyway.

        You clearly DKSAB...

I wonder what George Chuvalo thinks about that...

Not that you know who he is.

Again he fought and comfortably beat Chuvalo in 72. I’m far more educated on that period of boxing than you, so don’t even bring that weak sh** to my table.

          Again... That wasn’t prime Ali.

          YDKSAB... vile little troll.

            How is that even fair?

Why does he need to continue on that long?

Did Sal Sanchez fight as long as Ali, or Mayweather, or Hopkins, or Walcott?
Nope. His career was over before most of there's were even relevant.

Are any of them as good as him?
            Not even close.

Show me footage of a Light Heavyweight that looks as good as Conn, whose career was over at 24.

Do you care about anything Ray Leonard did after he turned 24? He had a few notable fights. But real consequence do they have on his legacy/our evaluation of his greatness?

Same applies for the GOAT Champ ever: Fury looks mint on film. That's all that matters. After throwing Wilder a bone (an undeserved rematch) and beating Usyk he can retire. Continuing past that point would be pointless.

Oh look at you.. you know how to use an internet search engine... For more than surfing Grindr.

Ali fought cans. Absolute cans before his self-imposed hiatus. And it saved him getting his ass fried by Frazier.

No one disputes this. No one thinks a green Heavyweight in his early 20s is better than a seasoned Heavyweight in his late 20's early thirties. In fact, that's universal to all sports. It's proven medicine. Look at the payscale for pro-athletes, who's making the most money? Kids in college can't even play in the NFL. Outside of super rare prodigies, it's worse for most MLB stars: not only do they need to graduate college, they often need to work their way through the minors.

We've seen smaller men than Ali maintain their advantages of speed and reflexes longer than Ali. The difference w/ Ali was that the division had finally caught up to him. it was exacerbated by the fact that he lacked the SKILLS necessary to maintain his physical talents. Guys like Frazier will age you fast.

Iget it. You're into Boxing for the sweaty, half-naked men. But you did this to yourself. You wanna be noticed. I'll make sure you get noticed. Can't promise it'll be what you expected, Downlow.

I still say Ali. He wasn't small at 6'3" and he fought tall. He moved like no other Heavyweight ever has. Don't tell me Fury moves like Ali - he's nowhere near Ali's footwork or hand speed. I'll accept he's quick for a Heavyweight but still nowhere near Ali.

And he had the smarts in the ring. Could win in different ways. I think it's become cool to dismiss older fighters on the basis of the current crop of giants. You don't think there were tall guys boxing before? They didn't excel because they weren't great sportsmen. Back in the day boxing was popular - it produced genuine superstars. You couldn't take up boxing at 20 and become the best because there were genuine Champions being developed.
Whose the best? Don't care but I agree with your post. Fury wouldn't beat Ali for the reasons you listed. Good post..

Everytime Ali manages to close the distance on Fury Fury would lay on him Wlad style and gas him out by the 4th round

                    “Ali fought cans”😂😂😂
                    Liston x2
                    Archie Moore
                    Ernie Terrell
Even guys like Folley and Cooper were solid contenders definitely better than the guys the Klitschko’s feasted on or Tom Schwarz.
                    GTFOH you complete spastic...

I deliberately caught you out as well. Ali actually fought Chuvalo twice in 66 and 72. See you didn’t point that out when I mentioned Ali not fighting Chuvalo in his prime. Why? Cause you’re clearly just boxrec’ing, trying to pick holes in Ali’s resume despite the fact it is far better than any other HW’s in history.

“Self imposed” are you for real? Ali stood up for something way bigger than boxing. He had his license suspended and his prime years robbed from him. Once again you’re WRONG and are proving you don’t know ***** about this period of boxing.

                    Checkmate r-tard...

Ali had amazing stamina to go along with his other gifts. We are talking about prime vs prime.
