Just curious... how many Boxing matches have you seen? How many Ali and fury fights? Can you honestly explain to us the differences between Ali and Fury? What do you "see" Ali doing to beat fury? And what fights are you referencing.

It might seem mean asking you these questions, but remember you put yourself in this position.

Even guys like Folley and Cooper were solid contenders definitely better than the guys the Klitschko’s feasted on or Tom Schwarz.
      GTFOH you complete spastic...

I deliberately caught you out as well. Ali actually fought Chuvalo twice in 66 and 72. See you didn’t point that out when I mentioned Ali not fighting Chuvalo in his prime. Why? Cause you’re clearly just boxrec’ing, trying to pick holes in Ali’s resume despite the fact it is far better than any other HW’s in history.

“Self imposed” are you for real? Ali stood up for something way bigger than boxing. He had his license suspended and his prime years robbed from him. Once again you’re WRONG and are proving you don’t know ***** about this period of boxing.

      Checkmate r-tard...
serious question. What was the final grade you finished at school?

There's a lot of people who purposefully act foolish on this site because they want attention. But you actually seem ******ed. You really couldn't comprehend my post?

Do you mind sharing your race and sexual orientation? I am asking because I really want to give you the benefit of the doubt. I can't believe someone can really be as dumb as you are trying to be on this forum.

If this is a h2h comparison with Ali involved, size definitely matters. He would play hell trying to beat Fury because of the huge size disparity. Ali never fought a guy anywhere near Wladimir's size, much less Fury's.

          Against who?

He got his **** pushed in against little Joe Frazier, and unraveled against Norton. He looked inexperienced against Young.

He hasn't used to pressing the fight. He never fought someone as big as Fury. He never fought someone as skilled and elusive.

Fury gets in his head, and makes him work.

take it from a guy who did not half bad wrestling. When you find yourself against a bigger, more technically proficient opponent, the first thing tested is your conditioning. You'll find yourself fading.

Look how well foster did against Ali... Size doesn't matter?

Ali was one of the greatest fighters I ever saw, he could do things in the ring I never have seen a hw do before or since. Everything Fury does Ali did better. That said, the best version of Ali weighed about 210. if the best version of each met I would not put money on either.

It is difficult to have a serious unemotional discussion about Ali with fans of my generation. He was more than just a boxer in his time.

So sure he can beat a very powerful guy like foreman or a very skilled guy and so on but the bigger modern guys just have too many of these "attributes" in one human, even Ali I believe could not compete. Although admittedly he is a freak and I could be wrong but you get the point the further back it goes the more doubt there is over whether they could compete with the very elite* in the modern era.

Speed kills. Height and weight are only part of the story.

                      Jose Ribalta:
                      height 6′ 5″ / 195cm
                      reach 80″ / 203cm
                      LOST to
                      Mike Tyson:
                      height 5′ 10″ / 178cm
                      reach 71″ / 180cm

There are plenty of other examples that could be cited. Sometimes the small fighter works his way in, or tires out the big man. All kinds of variables. Holmes, Mr. Jab, got flattened by Tyson.

Fury went the distance with Wilder, got dropped by Cunningham, and has looked good mostly by playing around with inept amateurs. Hell, I remember when Mitch Green looked invincible. I saw him live, fighting in the Golden Gloves. But...he wasn't.

Fury hasn't had nearly enough fights to be called The Greatest. At one time, all kinds of pretenders from Mitch Green to Gerry Cooney and back looked to be on their way to greatness. Fury could fall to Wilder, Whyte, Ruiz, or some other Top 10.

Lewis and Vitali both had embarrassing losses. It happens. Tyson was once called THE BADDEST, till Buster Douglas, and then Lewis. The Douglas fight was what, no preparation. The Lewis fight — he was old and no longer motivated but gave a good effort for a while.

Ali was given NO chance against either Liston or Foreman (and he topped Frazier twice). Marciano was unbeaten but nobody considers him The Greatest just for that. Ain't nobody "The Greatest" who got beat, but Ali remains "The Greatest" for a lot of reasons.
