It looks more like Tyson Fury robbed ESPN and Top Rank for this fight. It looks like he held them for a $12.5 mil ransom.

I could never understand this signing in the first place. It's not like Fury is a box office draw or has a huge following, large fanbase or pack a lot of meat in the seats at home or abroad. It just never truly made sense to me.

Arum lost a lot of ESPN's money on the first Terence Crawford PPV and now he has lost a lot of money on Tyson Fury's ESPN's debut.

By the way Anthony Joshua did very good numbers at the gate at MSG. However on DAZN; It's been rumored that the fight didn't do very well.

It has been reported that the unofficial numbers for the fight was between 5K-10K viewers. It must be true because it's been 3 weeks and DAZN has yet to disclose the official numbers.

Do you really believe that they were expecting a sellout and huge ratings for a Schwarz fight? One of the issues that I have with boxing is that most undercards are subpar. Too much money for the main eventers leaves peanuts for the rest. The Tyson Fury signing was an investment. It's a risk. Although Fury can be a clown at times he is good for the sport. The bottom line is that the top guys have to fight each other in every division not just the heavy's. The Joshua fans prove a very important point. The difference between brits and americans is that we can not be so easily fooled. We realized that A.J was all hype a long time ago!

Your guys fight mostly garbage and smaller shot fighters. So if anyone is fooled, it's you lot. Fans put pressure on AJ and Hearn to step up the competition early on in his career. You lot were happy with the shlte you watched and defended it. Boxing in the US is dying because of it.

And Wilder isn't hype. He and his fans are just extremely deluded. The facts speak for themselves.
