I could never understand this signing in the first place. It's not like Fury is a box office draw or has a huge following, large fanbase or pack a lot of meat in the seats at home or abroad. It just never truly made sense to me.

Arum lost a lot of ESPN's money on the first Terence Crawford PPV and now he has lost a lot of money on Tyson Fury's ESPN's debut.
Hilarious you've got something to say about Fury who doesn't sell but nothing on Wilder who is just as bad if not worse.

You are confusing live gate/revenue generated from ticket, merchandise and sponsors with boxers purses

By the way Anthony Joshua did very good numbers at the gate at MSG. However on DAZN; It's been rumored that the fight didn't do very well.

It has been reported that the unofficial numbers for the fight was between 5K-10K viewers. It must be true because it's been 3 weeks and DAZN has yet to disclose the official numbers.
Stop talking rubbish like always. Wilder isn't nor ever will be a star. He doesn't sell. But your delusion and hypocrisy is extremely showing yet again.

Fury could do much better numbers in the UK he'd sell at any arena and maybe a stadium v the right opponent

Not confusing them I'm just asking because they're making so much money in America right? They must be making big bucks per fight already?

Tbh I'm surprised you've not ended it all, I bet you cried yourself to sleep that night.
If AJ is shlt, what is Fury after getting dominated by John McDermott? At least Ruiz was a fringe level guy when he fought AJ. McDermott was always utter crap.

The bottom line is that the top guys have to fight each other in every division not just the heavy's. The Joshua fans prove a very important point. The difference between brits and americans is that we can not be so easily fooled. We realized that A.J was all hype a long time ago!
Your guys fight mostly garbage and smaller shot fighters. So if anyone is fooled, it's you lot. Fans put pressure on AJ and Hearn to step up the competition early on in his career. You lot were happy with the shlte you watched and defended it. Boxing in the US is dying because of it.

And Wilder isn't hype. He and his fans are just extremely deluded. The facts speak for themselves.

So there where over 10,000 empty seats.

I suspect most of the people there where american, I honestly don't think Fury's fan-base in the UK travel for him.
