If Arum wins the purse bid, do you think he puts it on BT?

Um, didn't think of that. Now that is one way to get back at Hearn if his entire plan was to take this to purse bid LOL.

I think this fight would do far better on Sky, Sky are really good a selling these sort of fights as competitive and meaningful. They’d essentially market it the same way they marketed GGG-Brook.
However if Hearn forces bids, I think Arum is spiteful enough to put it on BT just to say F U to Hearn/Matchroom.

Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out.

Hell even if he's able to work with Loma & entice him over to DAZN Loma is no game changer for Eddie or DAZN. If Eddie wants to burn a bridge for a guy it better be Wilder or Tank or someone with some real leverage with fans.
Loma is a bigger draw than Tank.

It just seems weird how everything seemed agreed upon and an announcement was happening soon yet three weeks later, here we are.
To drive up Campbell's purse? Why can't he just pay him more? He's his promoter.

You keep saying everything was agreed upon but keep leaving out the part where Eddie's fighter didn't agree to anything. Top Rank & Hearn agreed. It was up to Eddie to deliver his fighter.

If it goes to purse bid Arum is going to win the purse bid. The reason Eddie was so quick to make the offer was to avoid a purse bid he knows he'll lose.

Why would he pay him more if he can get more out of Arum?

Top Rank and Hearn agreeing should pretty much mean the fighters agreeing. If not, what exactly are they agreeing on? Just the broadcast of the fight? I mean I guess that is possible, but clearly something happened from where both sides were acting like it was a done deal to now being two days away from it going to purse bid.

Also will be interesting to see how the deal will be structured. How much ESPN will pay opposed to Sky Sports, if that's where the fight takes place on.

Arum very well can win the purse bid. Never said otherwise.

Didn't even see this. So damn, now the fight will take place in the states if Hearn wins? Then he definitely is pushing for it to take place on DAZN. Went from taking place in the UK on Sky Box Office and on ESPN stateside to now possibly taking place stateside on DAZN.

Let's see how much DAZN is willing to put up for this fight. Arum may go above 4M for it.

Its not just about present drawing ability.

DAZN shouldn't invest in the present. They should invest in the future.

Loma is 31 & is probably getting close to being done since lil guys tend to age out sooner. Tank is 24 & has the future in front of him. Its a solid bet Tank gets bigger than Loma ever was & hell its a solid argument today that Tank has more casual fans that know him then Loma does & the money is in casual fans.

He makes more money as the promoter of the show. UK gate & PPV. That's why he should pay him more. The one who benefits from a purse bid is Campbell. He gets a 50/50 split. It's like when Hearn said he offered Tank $5 mil and Farmer said what about me, how much am I getting paid. Hearn simply bit off more than he could chew.

Look at Coppinger's tweet, Hearn is making it seem like if he wins he puts the fight on DAZN. It won't be UK PPV since it will take place stateside.

Something isn't adding up here. Hearn very well may not want to lose money on his end and doesn't want it in the UK on PPV or he's trying to milk some more money from ESPN's end. Or the last thing is he wants the fight on DAZN stateside.

But these two sides were both confident at one point that an announcement was imminent. And then...........
