Mosley hadnt won yet, he still had to fight and defeat Vargas, afterall he dont want to get accused of fighting a fighter who just loss right. U right those are smart moves for Mosely and Oscar. But Floyd doesnt get the same respect for making the same smart moves, people were doing a lot of talking when he fought Sharmba, a former champ for his 1st fight at 147. If he did fight Spinks, that is a smart move. Thats another accolade on his resume to help define him as the best boxer in history. 5 time champ in 5 different weight classes and no one would have done it faster, thats HISTORY and LEGACY!! True enough, i think there is a tougher fight than Spinks in Margarito, but not much tougher. I just think a lot of yall criticism is unwarranted, u act if he is challenging and fighting up and comers, he is challenging people with as much or more ring experience than him. Its not his fought that Maragrito been doing nothing with his belt and making bad moves. If he is fighting Zab, that's good move, u got to fight the guards before u try and dethrone the king.
