AJ by vicious knockout. He's gonna be angry and pissed off this time. Bad news for Ruiz.

Trying to rush it could backfire again and ruin AJ career forever so lets hope this is AJ really wanting the rematch instantly and not Eddie Hearn talking him into doing the rematch right away for his SELFISH GAIN and making it about him vs Haymon

Credit to AJ for taking the rematch immediately. Hope he learns what he needs to by Dec. or else he is getting KTFO again.

It is reported that Ruiz will get 12,713,000 US for the rematch. IMHO, this news sucks. Andy should get at least what AJ made in the first fight. I have no problem with AJ getting the higher percentage, but Ruiz's purse should at the very least be comparable.
"The terms were written into the deal ahead of the first fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Under that agreement, it is understood Joshua will also call the shots over the location second bout, contrary to suggestions from Ruiz, the new IBF, WBA and WBO champion."
Compliments of Daily Mail UK

I’ve watched the fight again and the alleged temple shot wasn’t really a big shot and Josh really didn’t take that many big shots in the fight, most of those shots were slapping shots.
Something just stinks but I can’t put my fingers on it as someone who has watched Josh since his amateur days.

Originally posted by deathofaclown View PostIm sure it will, but i think the % will already be stated in the contract for the first fight.
Dillian Whyte turned down the AJ fight because he felt the rematch clause % was unfair if he won.
I’m sure they probably offered Ruiz a similar deal in terms of rematch but he was in a much lesser position so wouldn’t have turned it down.
