The rematch is good insofar as it will be the final burial of an over-hyped myth.
... I keep repeating this... but I'm bored by now...

Think it through... Put the Union Jack aside a moment and just think it through... Rematches happen under various conditions.

Lennox Lewis got hit with two bombs... this is humiliating but not psychologically devistating. On the other hand when Tyson lost to the bastard maker, it was more protracted and psychologically devistating because Holly did not Ko him with one big punch he systematically dismantled Tyson.

Joshua was dismantled. He has talent, ability and can perhaps come back, but he is in a real vulnerable position and Ruiz has the skill level to capitolize on that advantage.

"The terms were written into the deal ahead of the first fight at Madison Square Garden on Saturday. Under that agreement, it is understood Joshua will also call the shots over the location second bout, contrary to suggestions from Ruiz, the new IBF, WBA and WBO champion."

        Compliments of Daily Mail UK
He signed the contract on his free will, they didn’t put a gun to his head.

He’s gonna get brutally knocked out in the rematch and walk away with $12million.

There will be no purse bid.
DAZN has exclusive rights to the fight.
And Ruiz's management already signed that provision in the rematch clause because he was an option defense.

One would assume a US venue would be of a lot of value to DAZN given its marketing push into the US. So could happen.
I know Ruiz signed a contract, but AS THE CHAMPION, he should at least be able to pick a venue! I have a feeling Joshua tries to go the distance, and get a decision!

Does Wilder REALLY have a promoter though? I know he has managers, an advisor, etc. But if i remember correctly, its always been kind of a merry-go-round type of promoter per fight. Or is Dibella his rightful promoter?

Andy will get even better compensation this next go 'round. I'm thinking 15 mill at the least. Happy for him and his familia,
He was drunk from the slap to the temple in the 3rd rd against an unfit and already lethargic man.

He’s getting brutally knocked out in the rematch because he’s gonna get desperate if he can’t get inside and it’s going to be an uppercut.

Lmao at the amount of people who want Josh’s career to be over. I guess that’s how most of you give up on your careers every time you face an adversity.

Unfortunately, rematch clauses do not work that way.

Hell, I've seen more rotten OPTION than this one.

That's why the Ali Law has some provision on options.

When I saw AJ last Saturday, I immediately remembered "my boy" Bute in Nottingham... (he never recovered)
