Foreman is one of the strongest fighters to ever step inside of the ring, naturally strong. When Evander Holyfield detonated something like a 20-30 punch attack upon him, I don't think there are many heavyweights who would of survived that type of bombardment.
As I have stated on other thread, when people speak about these match ups 'We have to take into consideration, when and where the fight is happening?'. Is the fight happening in 2022, 70's, or 90's. Because whenever the fight happens, it will change the fighters.
Andy Ruiz Junior if he was to travel back in time, to the 70's will not have all the benefits of having a strength and conditioning coach or sports science. He will have to train and live like every other fighter of that time 'You see when you think about these things, the game changes'.
George Foreman during the 1970's was 224 pounds, Usyk who has just fought Anthony Joshua was 221 pounds. Usyk does not have the frame or natural muscle density of George Foreman, I would even go as far to say that Foreman all around is bigger than both Usyk & even Joshua.
If Foreman was fighting in 2022, he is going to be a solid mid-230 pounds, if that was his intention. If Usyk can come up from Cruiser weight, than goodness knows how a fighter like Foreman with better genetics how he is going to be able to manipulate his body in the year 2022.
But lets get one thing straight, I am not one of these people who thinks it is a mandatory that every fighters has to bulk up to compete in today's era. People are saying that Foreman was slow, and this and that. Foreman during the 70's was fighting heavyweights that could move like middle-weights, and he was fighting during a time when he had to potentially fight for 15 rounds. Foreman hit everyone, he step inside the ring with even Muhammad Ali. Speed can be relative, people's perceptions can be off 'Carl Froch was a lot more faster, than people would think'.
I think Foreman has better endurance than Ruiz Junior, and if Ruiz Junior decides to hook and start swinging on the inside with Foreman. One punch landing is not going to stop Foreman, but one punch landing from Foreman is going to change and dramatically affect Ruiz Juniors life, whether that be past or in the present.
Foreman is probably going to win this fight via knock out, but it will be a exciting action packed fight.
