The fact that they didn't release the actual numbers let's me know the numbers weren't that good. Saying Canelo's 2 fights were the only higher rated fights is called spin

I've gotten so tired of these endless narratives and back and forth's between warring sides that I honestly hope Joshua retires and Wilder gets KO'd by Ortiz so it can all end. I already miss the days of the Klitschkos' boring dominance over this division

Worst era ever. Joshua and Wilder has people talking about the HW division again. Why would you want to go back to an era when the HW division was ignored? Do you hate the sport?

LOL who was the draw that was going to bring in casuals? Anthony Joshua? Who dat? Andy Ruiz? GTFOH.
That Irish girl? Real boxing fans of course were watching...Callum Smith in particular looked very very good...but there were not the kind of names that draw in a casual or Hispanic crowd.

NOW it's a different story. NOW people will want to see Ruiz, especially Mexicans and Mex-Americans. No one cares about Joshua over here; the whole point of the match was to show Joshua's "skills" in the US, to raise his media exposure, but it just didn't happen the way Eddie H had it mapped out.

Ruiz-Joshua II will be HUUUGE in either the US or the UK. Or Mexico.

Makes sense. Canelo is obviously a way bigger name in the states than joshua. So how wouldn't the biggest name in boxing vs a nobody not outdo a not so popular foreign fighter vs a fighter?

Eh, I enjoyed it. At least there wasn't this constant bickering between factions that will never change their minds no matter what will happen in the future.

And yep, you got me!! I've been found out! I do hate the sport!!! It's been an elaborate ruse on my part the whole time, I spend my entire Saturday's watching boxing from small UK shows to Poland and Canada and Russia and god knows where else because I hate the ****ing sport!

The back & forth makes it fun. What else is there to talk about? There is such a long time in between good fights that we dont have much to talk about besides stuff like this

Except the talk is rarely ever about the actual fights and about ducking bull**** and promoter back and forths and tv deals and so much other out of the ring bull****. I feel like we as a community rarely ever talk about the actual fights and matchups any more. It's just posturing and praising of people's favorite fighters, hell nobody is even talking about thr fantastic WBSS fights coming up in 2 weeks.

Because we rarely get fights!!!!! You think we should be talking about that farce GGG/Rolls????

This isn't the NFL/NBA/NHL. Boxing doesn't hands a season with scheduled fights every week/day.

During the off-season of those sports those fans do the same thing because there aren't any games scheduled.
